“How would he know if you keep your mouth shut?” Timothy retorted.

He would never let Vanessa off the hook if it weren't for her relationship with Johanna.

He then added expressionlessly, “Ever since you married my dad, I've been treating you with respect. However, I'm disgusted by what you've done to Jojo! If you could abandon your daughter, how could you ever treat someone else's child sincerely?”

In response, Vanessa quickly explained, “No. It wasn't like that. Back then, I had no choice but to send Jojo abroad—”

Timothy wasn't in the mood to listen to her, so he warned, “If you wish to stay with my dad and keep your fame and fortune, keep your mouth shut! As you said, I'm his son. Do you think he's going to have a fallout with me because of an outsider?”
