My Heart only Beats for You (Natalie Godfrey) novel Chapter 2083

Kylin said, "Yesseca, what's wrong with you? What happened? I haven't been able to get through to you."

If Kylin had asked this at any other time, Yesseca would have found it strange. Why would he call her?

But in the current moment, Yesseca was in no mood to listen to what Kylin was talking about.

Yesseca sniffed and said, "Kylin, I'm going home. I'm in a bad mood today and don't have time to chat with you. We'll talk another time, okay?"

After saying that, Yesseca looked around and noticed that there were no cars around.

She continued walking ahead hoping to find a taxi to go home.

She was very hurt.

She did not want to think about anything. All she wanted to do was to go home.

She wanted to go back to her home in Agaphen City where she and Lothar used to live.

Kylin followed hurriedly and said, "Yesseca, what happened to you and Tremaine? Did something happen between the both of you, and the child's mother?" "Stop!" Yesseca suddenly shouted.

Kylin was taken aback.

Yesseca's face turned red. Her voice was very loud.

Kylin had known Yesseca for so long, but this was the first time he had seen her so angry.

"Yesseca, you..."

Yesseca sniffed and said, "Kylin, are we considered friends?"

Kylin immediately said, "Of course we are."

Although he and Yesseca could not be romantic partners, he was willing to be a true friend to her.

Yesseca said, "If we are friends, you will never mention Tremaine in front of me again! Never bring up anything about him!"

Kyi in's heart missed a beat.

Yesseca said, "Tremaine and I are over, completely and utterly over! That man has disappeared from my life. I will live my life as though I have never met him!"

Hearing Yesseca's words, Kylin was stunned.

He'd known that there were problems between Yesseca and Tremaine, but he did not expect it to be so severe that she would say something like this.

Since she was so angry, Kylin did not dare to say anything.

He replied, "Okay, I won't ask. Let me send you home. There are no cars around. Let's go somewhere where I can find a taxi."

Yesseca nodded and didn't say anything.

An hour later, Yesseca had returned home.

After opening the door, Yesseca said to Kylin, "Kylin, thank you for sending me back. You should go back too."

Kylin was still somewhat worried about her.

He said, "Yesseca, why don't I accompany you?"

After that, Kylin added, afraid that Yesseca might misunderstand, "Don't worry, I don't mean anything else by it. I'm just concerned as a friend."

Yesseca shook her head.

She said, "Kylin, I know you are a good person, but now I just want to be alone."

Kylin had to agree with her.

He said, "Then have a good rest. I'll come to see you later."

After entering her house and shutting the door, Yesseca's tears came forth.

She ran to her room and fell on the bed crying.

She felt that she was useless and cowardly and weak.

Yesseca shook her head.

She said, "I don't want to go. I want to rest."

Kylin promised, "Sure, go ahead."

He thought that her mood was still depressed. She needed some rest. He would come back the next day to ask her what had happened.

Just as Kylin was about to leave, Yesseca suddenly stopped him.

She said, "Kylin, don't tell my sister and brother-in-law about this matter. My sister likes to overthink things. I am afraid that if she knows, she will worry about me."

Kylin immediately agreed.

Even without her saying anything, Kylin knew that Selina loved Yesseca dearly. If she knew how badly Yesseca had been crying, she would feel awful.

Selina was not someone who handled things meticulously or wisely. She would definitely make a fuss.

It was a good idea not to tell Selina about this.

"Don't worry. I won't tell anyone," Kylin said to Yesseca.

Yesseca nodded. "Thank you."

After that, Yesseca closed the door again.

Looking at the closed door, Kylin was worried.

What had happened with Tremaine and Yesseca? Why was she so sad?

In the Quartley Palace, Tremaine sat in the study for a day until Madam Quartley turned up.

She was here to put pressure on Tremaine.

Madam Quartley said immediately, "Tremaine, have you come up with a conclusion? You haven't found out anything. Who poisoned Montez? Give me an answer now!"
