Kylin said softly, "Yesseca, don't say that. I just hope that you're living well."
Yesseca looked down and said nothing.
Kylin asked cautiously, "Yesseca, can you tell me what happened between you and Tremaine?"
Although Yesseca told Kylin not to ask, he still wanted to know.
He thought that if Tremaine really did mistreat Yesseca, he had to get justice for her.
After all, he cared a lot for her. He could not let her be mistreated.
If Kylin did not say that, everything would have been fine. But he touched on a sensitive subject for Yesseca. She shouted, "Kylin, do not bring up Tremaine with me! I told you never to talk to me about him again!"
Yesseca's agitated attitude caused Kyi in's brows to twitch.
In order to appease Yesseca, he could only immediately say, "Don't be agitated, I won't talk about it anymore."
Yesseca gasped for air.
After a while, she gradually calmed down.
Looking at Kylin, she felt bad. "Kylin, I should not have raised my voice. But please do not bring up Tremaine in front of me anymore. Please."
As she spoke, Yesseca's eyes turned slightly red.
Obviously, she had been extremely hurt by Tremaine.
Even if Kylin had so many questions, even if he wanted to seek justice for Yesseca, he could not do so, looking at how Yesseca was right now.
If he pressed on like this, he might not even be able to be Yesseca's friend anymore, and he might even break her heart.
If Yesseca was willing to tell him in the future, that would be helpful. He would not gain anything from questioning her.
Kylin had to suppress his emotions.
He said, "Yesseca, I promise you that I won't ask again, but you have to promise me that you'll eat and rest well. Don't be sad."
Yesseca nodded.
She took the food that Kylin had bought for her.
After taking it, Yesseca looked up at Kylin and said, "I promise that I will eat properly. You must also promise me that you will go home and rest. If you're outside my house all day, I won't be able to relax."
Looking at Yesseca's serious eyes, Kylin couldn't refuse.
He could only say, "Alright then, I'll go back. Get some rest." He added, "You'll feel better after a good night's sleep."
After sleeping, everything would be okay.
Yesseca silently recited this sentence in her heart.
Hopefully.
She hoped that after she slept, the pain would be gone.
Closing the door, Yesseca went to her bedroom.
Maybe Kylin's words gave Yesseca hope. Sleeping would help. Yesseca tried not to think of anything and forced herself to sleep.
After trying all sorts of methods like counting sheep, sleepiness finally swept over Yesseca.
After lying on the bed for two hours, Yesseca finally fell asleep.
Yesseca had a dream.
In her dream, it was like a shortened version of her relationship with Tremaine. It was a sweet dream, with all the good parts of their relationship condensed into one dream.
