Montez was overjoyed.
"Yes! I love these pastries; they're so good. Daddy, you have to have her become our pastry chef."
Tremaine gave a wry chuckle, "The question is if she wants to."
Montez was full of confidence. "She will. You just have to say the word; she'll definitely come."
Tremaine said with hints of bitter helplessness in his eyes, "Not necessarily."
Of all people, she was the only one he didn't know how to deal with.
He couldn't even blatantly invite her home but only tried his best to sound her out.
With that thought in mind, Tremaine grew suffocating.
He remembered his wedding with Qiana was approaching.
Zorion went to find Ruth again.
Ever since Yuliana acquiesced Zorion to rendezvous with Ruth and even not reprimanding him, he was like a runaway bronco, spending all his time with Ruth.
That night was no exception.
After Zorion left, Qiana went to Yuliana's room to go over their plan.
For this time, the next day, there would be bloodshed in the Quartley Palace.
As the plan they had long painstakingly planned was finally about to be carried out.
"Qiana, you're sure we can do this tomorrow." Yuliana was both excited and nervous, thinking she could finally kill that b*tch the next day.
Smiling, Qiana reassured her once again, "Yuliana, you don't have to worry. You're so miserable and even depressed now. What can Mr. Tremaine do even if you kill Ruth? No matter what, you're his sister-in-law, and his brother babies you so much. Besides, Grandma will definitely speak up for you then."
Yuliana thought Qiana was right.
Although Ruth was now pregnant with Zorion's child, she was, after all, still a humble servant while she was Zorion's wife.
Plus, she didn't do it on 'purpose'. Ruth had forced her into such a corner!
Tremaine wouldn't do anything!
Yuliana's worries had finally eased.
She then lowered her voice, "Qiana, have you bought the drug? Is it ready?"
