With that, Yesseca turned her back toward Tremaine, "So, leave, Quartley!"

Tremaine didn't say anything.

Standing rooted to the spot, he felt as though his blood was slowly freezing over.

He came looking for her with a passion only to be met with her aloofness.

He thought Yesseca still had feelings for him. He thought he could win her back with everything it took, and she'd be moved since nothing happened between him and Qiana.

But only now did he realize how wrong he was.

Yesseca wouldn't be moved so easily.

And her words had truly broken him.

Moments later, Tremaine took a step forward.

He thought the Yesseca right then was simply too emotional.

He should wait.
