Preslie rolled out of bed.
After washing up, she realized no one was in the living room.
She was stumped.
She admitted she was lazy; Yesseca was much more diligent than her. Yesseca would usually go to bed later yet rise earlier than she would. Breakfast would already be ready by the time she finally woke.
She couldn't help wondering why the living room was empty that morning.
With that, Preslie went to Yesseca's bedroom to find she was sitting by the bed, lying her torso on it.
"Yesseca!" Preslie walked over.
Yesseca jolted awake at the call.
She raised her head, bleary-eyed.
Preslie was at a loss for words.
Had Yesseca fallen asleep like this?
She couldn't have slept like this all night, had she?!
Preslie was about to ask when she noticed the photo in Yesseca's hand.
She knew him. That was Lothar.
Preslie held her breath.
A notion came to her.
Yesseca probably missed her brother.
Seeing her puffy eyes, Preslie couldn't help saying, "Yesseca, I understand that you miss your brother, but don't be sad. I'm sure he's happy to see you like this."
"So, even when you miss him, don't cry; you must be strong for him!"
Yesseca muttered, "Lothar would be happy to see me like this."
