My Heart only Beats for You (Natalie Godfrey) novel Chapter 2332

Selina knew that Matthew was right.

What he said was true. Could it be that she was allowed to have her portrait painted but not Tremaine?

Although she was still a little unhappy, Selina agreed for the painter to draw their portrait on the day after tomorrow.

After the painter left, Selina asked Matthew what Tremaine had asked the painter to draw.

Matthew had a hint in his mind, but he didn't say it out loud.

Matthew said, "I'm not too sure."

Selina said, "I reckon he asked for a portrait of himself because he's just such a narcissist. He definitely wants to hang up a picture of himself for his own satisfaction."

Matthew didn't say anything further.

He didn't think that Tremaine was a narcissist.

Besides, even if he was, Tremaine did have the qualities to be narcissistic.

After all, in terms of his appearance, Tremaine was indeed outstanding.

Of course, he didn't mention it to Selina.

Selina would be upset if he did.

The next day arrived soon.

The painter went to the Quartley Palace.

Tremaine was dressed in a formal suit. He asked the painter to paint a portrait of two people.

The painter was stunned upon his request. "Mr. President, you're the only one here."

There must be two people there for two people to be drawn in the painting.

Tremaine passed a photo to the painter.

The girl in the photo was very young, with bright eyes and pearl white teeth. She was smiling brightly.

Tremaine said to the painter, "Both her and me. Paint her beside me." He paused for a moment and added, "As if she were nestled against me."

The painter didn't know what to say.

This..

It was the first time he had received such a strange request.

The painter said, "Mr. President, I'm afraid that this will affect the quality of the painting. Why don't you see if you can find this girl? It's better if you both are in front of me. If I have to draw with only this picture, it might be a little too difficult."

A trace of loneliness flashed across Tremaine's eyes. "I can't be with her anymore. I've lost her. I can never see her again."

The painter didn't know how to reply.

Tremaine's words made the painter feel confused, but seeing the miserable expression of loss in Tremaine's eyes, the painter came to the conclusion that the girl in the picture must have passed away.

He could only say, "Mr. President, I'll try my best to paint her. Should I draw this girl to be exactly like how she is in this picture? With the same facial expression and clothes?"

Tremaine stared at Yesseca in the photo for a moment before saying, "Keep everything the same, but change her clothes to a wedding dress instead."

He had always owed Yesseca a formal wedding.

Unfortunately, before Yesseca could put on a wedding gown, he had already lost her.

He tried his best to get Yesseca to come back.

It was a shame, he could not get her back anymore.

After everything that had happened, it was clear

that we would never get Yesseca back.

An hour later, the painter gave Tremaine his finished work.

It was a painted portrait of Tremaine and Yesseca.

Tremaine was dressed in a suit. He was handsome and charming, while Yesseca, who was wearing a white wedding dress, was snuggled up with Tremaine with a smile on her face.

It was a really beautiful painting.

It felt almost real.

As if Yesseca was really next to Tremaine, being in his arms.

Unfortunately, it was nothing but a fake.

Even so, seeing that painting, a smile traced Tremaine's expression.

He was really satisfied.

After the painter left, Tremaine called Sheldon and showed him the portrait.

Sheldon was totally shocked.

He thought that Tremaine would ask the painter to draw something else! He didn't expect that it would be this!

Selina was dumbstruck upon hearing it.

She didn't expect that Tremaine would get a painter to draw such a thing.

"What does the girl look like?" Selina asked.

The painter gave a brief description of the girl in the picture.

Selina knew right away that it was Yesseca.

She felt all sorts of conflict in her heart.

The painter said casually, "Although the President of Nashaland is quite young, he is a loyal man. His lover had passed away, but still he wouldn't forget about her. He even asked me to paint a portrait of her."

Selina was speechless for a moment.

She immediately said, "What are you talking about? What do you mean when you said that his lover passed away?"

The painter explained, "If she were still alive, there would be no need for him to get a painting. Besides, the President of Nashaland said that he could never be with her again, that definitely means she has left his world. With his power and status as the President, how could he not be able to get back together with someone?"

She remained silent.

If the painter misunderstood, then so be it. There was no need for her to explain further.

What's more, after hearing his words, she was feeling so complicated that she didn't want to explain it.

After the painter left, she said to Matthew with a complicated expression, "Matthew, I didn't expect that Tremaine would get a painter to draw such a thing."

Matthew had already guessed it, so he did not say anything. He pursed his thin lips, and a trace of emotion flashed in his eyes.

He knew that Tremaine was very much in love with Yesseca.

Otherwise, Matthew himself wouldn't have tried so hard to get them both to be back together again and again.

And now, it seemed like he wasn't wrong.

Tremaine was deeply in love with Yesseca.

During this period of time, Tremaine must have put in a lot of effort in order to get Yesseca back, but his efforts were all in vain. He thought that Tremaine had probably given up for good.

He wouldn't have got a painter to draw such a portrait if he did.

He would personally put a wedding dress on Yesseca instead of just getting the image as a painting.

Judging by Tremaine's actions, it only showed one thing.
