My Heart only Beats for You (Natalie Godfrey) novel Chapter 2342

Matthew sighed.

He said, "Tremaine isn't an ordinary man. He is the president. If a country's president remains single all year round, there's bound to criticisms and even political instability from it. That's why he needs to get married."

"You already know that it was impossible for him to marry Yesseca. For the sake of the country and for his political career, it makes sense for him to marry that woman."

"It's what he has to do as the president of his nation."

Selina didn't say anything.

Matthew held Selina's slender waist and comforted her softly, "Don't think about it. In fact, this is a good thing. Since Yesseca doesn't want to be with Tremaine anymore, he is free to marry anyone else."

Selina thought about it and felt that Matthew made sense. She then said, "Okay, I'll stop thinking about it. I'll still go ahead and see Yesseca. I don't know if she's heard the news yet. I'm worried she might feel sad about it if she has." "If she's absolutely certain that she never wants to

be Tremaine ever again, then the sadness she feels will only be temporary. She'll get over it in time, don't worry."

"Regardless, I should still go and check on Yesseca." Selina looked worried as she walked off.

Selina went to Yesseca's bakery that afternoon.

She was worried that Yesseca might be very depressed from the news, so she had specially brought her daughter Sabrina along.

Sabrina was only three years old. She hadn't inherited either Selina's or Matthew's features and so looked very ordinary.

However, she was dressed nicely and fed good food which allowed her to have fair skin and a good temperment.

After she brought Sabrina into the shop, Selina began to talk to Yesseca.

She didn't dare to mention Tremaine, so she casually chatted with Yesseca about other topics just to see how she was feeling.

Luckily, Yesseca was in a very good mood.

There weren't any customers in the store. Preslie thought it would be nicer for Selina and Yesseca to chat if she brought Sabrina to the lounge

upstairs.

She said while smiling, "Hey kiddo, want to come upstairs with me? I'll make you a very tasty drink while your mommy and auntie talk to each other."

While smiling sweetly, she patted Sabrina's head and said, "Go on up Sabrina. Auntie Preslie will show you something really fun to play with."

Preslie and Sabrina then went upstairs.

When they got upstairs, Preslie made Sabrina a cup of oat milk but Sabrina didn't want to drink it.

Looking disgusted, Sabrina said, "Your store is so ugly. I don't want to drink it. It's definitely not going to be nice."

Preslie was quiet.

Preslie then said nicely, "Our store is actually quite nice. We use fresh ingredients, not bad ones. Don't worry, it's really tasty."

Even at such a young age, Sabrina was already acting in such a lofty way, "No, your store is small and shabby. There's no way you use fresh ingredients. I'm a princess, so I must only have the best things. I'm not going to eat anything from your store!"

Preslie was at a loss for words.

She curled up her lips and muttered, "Forget it then."

A little while later, Selina went upstairs and was about to leave with Sabrina.

After the two of them left, Preslie told Yesseca what had happened.

She was puzzled as she said, "Your little niece doesn't feel like she's Selina and Matthew's child. Your sister and brother-in-law are so polite and kind, but that little girl said she was a princess and was acting so lofty. She's only three years old!"

Yesseca didn't seem to think much about it.

She replied, "It's totally normal for a little girl to act arrogant at times. Besides, she's probably been spoiled rotten by her parents."

Preslie kept quiet.

She didn't have any issues with children, but she found that little girl's attitude to be quite concerning.

But Selina and Yesseca were as close as sisters could ever be, so she decided not to approach the topic any further. She changed the subject and asked, "So what did you two talk about?"

There was a faint hint of emotion in Yesseca's eyes as she replied, "Oh not much. We just casually talked about random things. I think she had come here to purposely check on me. She
