"I can't forget her no matter what I do!"
Tremaine's confession made Sheldon even more uncomfortable.
Tremaine was bright, but he was a fool in love.
How could he not see that Yesseca wasn't worth his time!
"Mr. Tremaine, look down." Sheldon suddenly pointed to the bottom of the helicopter. "We have arrived at Nashaland, which is under your jurisdiction."
"There are countless people in this land. If you continue to ruin yourself for a woman, how can you manage your people?"
"Do you still remember the heroic words you made when you took office? You said that you wanted to make Nashaland the most powerful country! You said that you wanted to make every citizen of Nashaland live a happy life!"
"But can you fulfill your promise in this state?"
"I know you can't forget Miss Cowell, but even if you love her, you can't do this! You are not an ordinary man but the president!" "You have a great responsibility! I need you to
wake up. For Nashaland and its people."
Sheldon roared.
He knew that Tremaine loved Yesseca very much. He knew only by reminding Tremaine about his responsibility could he bring Tremaine back to reality.
He had to get Tremaine out of his abyss of pain.
After Sheldon's shouting, Tremaine's eyes regained focus.
He murmured, "I am the president and I bear a huge responsibility. I want my people to be happy and healthy and I want my country to be strong."
"Yes, that's it!" Sheldon said, "It's your job! You can't escape from it!"
Tremaine lowered his head.
As if he had accepted his fate, a bitter smile appeared on his lips. "Sheldon, take me back and sober me up."
The next day.
It was the day of Tremaine's wedding with Rorita.
Hogan had spent a lot of effort on this wedding.
It was also the biggest wedding in Nashaland so far.
Every street in Nashaland was decorated with roses and banners to congratulate the soon-to-be-married couple.
In the largest hotel in Nashaland, Rorita was waiting in a white wedding dress.
She was waiting for the groom, Tremaine.
Her cheeks were blushing slightly and her eyes were shining.
She knew that he was just using her as a tool and to fulfill his duties.
And she knew he didn't care about the wedding.
But she was still happy and excited.
She had never expected that she would marry the man who caught her heart when she was fourteen.
She couldn't contain her emotions.
Such joy made her forget the fact she was just a puppet bride.
Weverly sat beside Rorita.
Looking at the different light on her sister's face, she had mixed feelings.
Tremain was an excellent president, but he would never be a great husband.
He had never shown himself.
Weverly was even sure that he would only appear on the altar.
He would come and go, just like one of the guests.
He wouldn't care about his bride or be happy about the whole wedding.
But Rorita was the exact opposite; she was very concerned about this wedding.
