My Heart only Beats for You (Natalie Godfrey) novel Chapter 2356

Yuliana added, "I'm just too nice to be petty with two lowly commoners."

After that, she turned around and went out.

Preslie was about to give chase when Yesseca stopped her.

Yesseca said, "Forget it. If she comes again, I'll chase her away."

"She has gone too far!" Preslie said angrily, "You saw how she begged us and changed her mind when she heard that Tremaine woke up!"

"We said nothing and yet she came provoking us?! How dare she!"

Yesseca didn't say anything, biting her lower lip.

She already knew what kind of person Yuliana was.

Yuliana loved spouting nonsense. So she could only ignore Yuliana.

She didn't have to take Yuliana's words to heart.

However, it did cause a stir in her heart.

Or perhaps a huge wave, to be exact.

She could not treat those words as nonsense.

Yesseca knew that Yuliana was trying to provoke

her, hence the exaggerations.

However, she couldn't control her emotions.

All those words Yuliana said were about Tremaine and his new wife...

Time flew. In the blink of an eye, a week had passed.

Every day, Tremaine would leave early in the morning and return late.

Before dawn, he would already be heading to the presidential office.

He would not return to Quartley Palace until midnight.

Rorita had been staying in Quartley Palace for the entire week.

She didn't have many hobbies. Usually, she would be in the garden or drawing.

Her gentle and polite character was praised by everyone in Quartley Palace.

Madam Quartley liked Rorita very much.

The servants also liked Rorita very much.

Only Yuliana didn't like Rorita. She just thought that Rorita was weak and easy to bully.

On this day, Rorita took her art supplies to the

garden.

She wanted to draw flowers there.

However, as soon as she got out of the bedroom, she heard a bang.

It turned out that a servant, who was cleaning, had fallen down.

Rorita immediately put down her stuff and ran to the servant.

She helped the servant up and asked with concern, "Are you okay?"

The servant was flattered. "I'm fine, Madam Rorita."

Seeing that the servant was about to resume their work, she called out, "You just fell. Your body must be in pain. Go back and rest."

The servant looked embarrassed and said, "But..."

Rorita smiled. "It's fine. I'll ask someone to take your place, so go back and rest."

The servant thanked Rorita. "Thank you very much, Madam Rorita."

After the servant left, Rorita picked up the mop.

Although there were many servants in Quartley Palace and she could ask someone to continue the work, she had nothing to do. She might as well clean it by herself.

Rorita started cleaning every room down the hallway.

When she was cleaning a bedroom, she accidentally saw a picture hanging above the bed.

It was a painting of Tremaine and a woman.

Tremaine was wearing a suit, smiling.

The woman was in a white wedding dress, nestling on Tremaine's shoulder.

Rorita recognized that woman at a glance.

Weverly chuckled, "Your brother-in-law hates PDA in front of others, but we had to be intimate with each other while taking the photos."

"He blushed so hard during the process."

As she spoke, Weverly suddenly thought of something.

She stopped smiling. "Did you have your wedding photos taken?"

Rorita was afraid that Weverly would worry about her.

She immediately smiled and said, "Soon. That's why I called to ask you about it."

Only then was Weverly relieved.

She asked again, "Who wanted them?"

Rorita's voice was a little muffled.

Weverly guessed that it was Rorita who asked for them.

But no matter who mentioned it, it would be a good thing if Tremaine agreed to take them.

Weverly said with a smile, "Anyway, you're husband and wife now. It doesn't matter who brings it up. You can use this chance to get close with him."

After hanging up, Rorita was absent-minded.

The portrait she saw before must be the wedding photo of Tremaine and Yesseca.

It was beautiful!

She had never seen the brilliance in his eyes and the smile on his lips as in the painting.

At midnight.

Tremaine came back from the presidential office.

He entered the bedroom.

The bedroom was dark.

He did not turn on the light. He went straight to the sofa, then lay down and closed his eyes.

About five minutes later, he suddenly heard a soft female voice. "Are you asleep yet?"

Tremaine's eyes flashed with disgust. "It has nothing to do with you." "I saw the painting in your bedroom."
