He even brought his wife along.
Seeing how dazed Yesseca was, Preslie cautiously said, "Hey Yesseca, maybe we should head back instead. We can skip this year's lantern festival."
Preslie was worried that Yesseca would be greatly affected if she saw Tremaine with his wife at the lantern festival and suggested he head home.
Yesseca simply took a deep breath.
She shook her head and said, "No."
Preslie couldn't tell how Yesseca was because had a rabbit mask on, but based on the tone of her voice, she seemed fine.
She asked again, "Yesseca, are you sure you don't want to head home? I don't mind going with you if you do."
Yesseca shook her head again and said, "Preslie, do you know why Tremaine brought his wife to the lantern festival here in Agaphen City?"
This time Preslie shook her head.
She hadn't expected this.
Yesseca whispered, "He's here to say goodbye to the past too."
That's why he came here with his wife.
Preslie was stunned.
"Precisely!" Yesseca suddenly raised her voice, "He's here to say farewell to the past and move on, as do I! If that's the case, there's no need for me to avoid him!"
Hearing Yesseca say this, Preslie thought about it and replied, "Alright Yesseca, if you say so. Then there's no need for us to avoid him."
Tremaine and Rorita were standing on a parade float.
Crowds of people were cheering them on from both sides of the road.
Noticing all the masks the crowds of people had on, Tremaine's heart began to calm down as he relaxed.
He didn't know that people who attended the lantern festival had to wear masks.
He was very worried of spotting Yesseca standing somewhere in the crowd.
But now, even if Yesseca appeared, he wouldn't have to worry about recognizing her.
"That's a relief." He thought.
There were countless numbers of people in masks in front of Tremaine.
