Rorita had stared at the portrait of her and Tremaine countless times now.
Yesseca's face, hair, eyebrows and smile. Everything about her had been imprinted in Rorita's mind.
Rorita imagined Yesseca to be quite an energetic girl.
But the woman on the bed now was the furthest thing from energetic!
If Rorita had to point out the one feature of Yesseca's that was still similar to the picture of her, it would be her eyes.
Despite her serious illness, her eyes still shone brightly.
It looked like there were stars in her eyes, the moon and sun as well.
It then dawned upon Rorita why Tremaine loved her so much.
Many people would be in very low spirits when faced with their own deaths.
Yesseca however still maintained her faint smile and sparkle in her eyes.
She was a very optimistic woman.
No wonder Tremaine was obsessed with her!
After taking a second glance at her, Rorita left.
Inside the ward.
Yesseca and Preslie had no idea that Rorita was around earlier.
Preslie fed Yesseca the apple she had peeled earlier.
"Crunch!"
Yesseca took a bite. It sounded crispy and juicy.
Yesseca smiled happily, revealing her shiny white teeth.
She reached out and patted Preslie on the head, "What's the matter Preslie? I'm fine. See? I'm still laughing and enjoying this delicious apple. There's no need to be sad."
Preslie could barely hold her tears back.
What's there to be happy about?!
Yesseca was going to die!
So many days had passed, but there was no cure for Yessseca's condition!
