As soon as Aimeen calmed down, she became angry again.
She glared at Dory, yelling, "Then why didn't you come to me and tell me?!"
It was not like Dory didn't know where she was.
Dory shrank from fear.
She didn't dare to look for Aimeen.
There was one time when there was no water at home. She was feeling very thirsty.
She ran to Aimeen, asking for money to buy water.
But Aimeen gave her a good beating.
The cane Aimeen used was thick, and she was covered in bruises by the end.
Aimeen scolded her for interrupting, saying that she ruined her good luck.
That was why Dory rather dig for food in the trash than go to Aimeen because there were no ingredients.
She was afraid of being beaten.
Just the thought of it would make her tremble.
The thick cane was so painful.
Seeing that Dory was speechless, Aimeen became furious.
How dare she!
Why wasn't she speaking?!
How could Dory not come to her?! And now she had nothing to eat!
Aimeen picked up the cane and waved it at Dory.
Dory fell to the ground.
"Bang!"
Following the bang, Dory collapsed.
The money Yesseca gave Dory fell out of Dory's pocket.
Aimeen's eyes widened when she saw the thick stack of money.
She stepped forward and kicked Dory, yelling, "Bitch! How dare you steal my money? I'll kill you!"
Seeing that Aimeen was about to step on her, Dory trembled and said, "Mom, I didn't steal from you! I'm telling the truth! Someone gave it to me."
