Chapter 122
They arrived at Primus Mansion.
Although Thomas had originally prepared Primus Mansion for Bradley and Esther’s wedding, this was the first time Bradley had come here. Naturally, it was Felix’s first time as well.
When Felix saw the wedding photo in the entryway, his eyes widened in amazement, and he could not help but exclaim, “Wow! Daddy and Mommy are so well-matched!”
“Your Daddy didn’t cooperate at all during the photoshoot. Just look at how he’s not smiling!”
Esther held Felix’s hand. Felix tilted his head for a glance, thinking of himself as the brave wingman, and said, “Mommy, Daddy’s smiling. Just look at his eyes…”
Esther ruffled Felix’s hair. She could not tell him how impatient Bradley had been during the wedding photoshoot. She had carefully selected all the wedding photos hanging in this house from tens of thousands of photos.
“Darling, play with Felix for the time being. I’ll go to the kitchen-”
Esther was about to enter the kitchen when Bradley reached out and grabbed her delicate. wrist, saying in a low voice, “No need to bother. Felix and I have a lunch appointment.”
Although Bradley did not hate Esther as much as before, deep inside his heart, he was still rational and clear that the woman he was going to marry was Felix’s biological mother, Liliane.
“Bradley, I’ll be quick. It won’t delay your schedule.” Esther’s clear eyes carried a deep plea.
The words of refusal reached Bradley’s lips, but they turned into words of agreement. “Alright.

Esther happily entered the kitchen and quickly tied on an apron. Her waist was slim and appeared even slimmer when the pink apron was tied around it. For the convenience of working in the kitchen, Esther casually took a hair tie and braided her hair into a side ponytail, letting it hang down in front of her chest.
She rinsed some grains, skillfully placed them in the pot, and opened the refrigerator and surveyed its contents like a queen.
Her mind listed various recipes: broccoli salad, tomato scrambled eggs, blanched shrimps, celery stir-fried beef, mushroom and potato soup, and more.
Bradley stood at the kitchen door, observing Esther as she busied herself. He recalled that she had never known how to boil water before, but now, she skillfully and confidently handled everything in the kitchen, exuding an aura of control.
“Mommy!” Felix stood beside Bradley, his voice soft and tender. “Do you need help?”
“Sure!” Esther handed a few cloves of garlic to Felix and gently said, “Please help Mommy
peel the garlic!”
Felix proudly puffed up his chest and assured her. “Mommy, don’t worry. I’m super good at peeling garlic!”
“Wow! My son is amazing!”
