Chapter 224
Bradley stepped forward and forcefully grabbed Liliane’s chin, his gaze filled with venom as he surveyed her delicate face.
“Liliane, even if Felix isn’t my biological son, he’s still a Warner,” he said with contempt.” Save your nonsense for the police.”
He released his grip on Liliane, his expression cold and indifferent.
Liliane’s heart pounded in her chest as she fainted in the arms of a female bodyguard.
The female bodyguard glanced at Scott, who promptly administered another pill to Liliane. With the aid of the pill and acupressure, Liliane regained consciousness.
“Liliane, you were never the woman who slept with me five years ago,” Bradley stated, raising an eyebrow.
Soon, a large electronic screen displayed surveillance footage from a hotel five years ago.
In the video, Esther and Bradley were seen kissing as they entered the presidential suite. Two hours later, Liliane and Leah were shown secretly moving Esther to a regular hotel room with the help of two men in black. They even arranged for the men in black to create the impression that Esther had spent the night with a stranger.
Meanwhile, Liliane pretended to spend the night with Bradley in his room.
“Five years ago, you claimed we had sex, and for that, I gave you $15,000,000 as hush money.” Bradley continued, looking down at Liliane with a condescending gaze. “Since you orchestrated everything from five years ago, then you and your accomplices committed fraud!
Bodyguards blocked Leah and Shane and couldn’t get close to Liliane.
Leah deeply regretted her actions and knew that Bradley was a ruthless man. While she had sensed that something was amiss with this wedding, she had arrogantly been under the impression that everything would be resolved once Liliane and Bradley were married.
However, she never anticipated that Bradley would be willing to pay such a high price to expose their conspiracy in front of the wedding guests and the world.
“Brad, I love you so much. I did those things because I love you too much…” Liliane pleaded, her voice filled with anguish.
Bradley’s eyes brimmed with mockery as he spoke. “Five years ago, I was a married man. Five years later, I am still a married man. Liliane, what makes you and your mother think I, Bradley Warner, would allow you to manipulate me like a puppet on a string?”
After uttering these words, Bradley’s piercing gaze swept over all the guests. “Dear guests, thank you for taking time out of your busy schedules to witness this performance. Thank you, Ms. Liliane Anstey and Ms. Leah Walpole, for your passionate acting. Feel free to stay or leave.”
The police approached and took Liliane and Leah away for questioning.
