Chapter 233
The two men halted their actions, their already ferocious faces contorting into menacing smiles.
“You remind us, you damn woman!” One man forcefully tore open Esther’s collar, exposing a patch of her radiant skin. “We don’t mind dying if it means we get to enjoy you!”
He lunged toward her, and despite her weakened state, Esther struggled desperately.
Blindly, she grabbed a handful of dirt from the ground and threw it at the man’s face, temporarily blinding him. Before Esther could attempt to escape, several other men rushed in and restrained her, pinning her hands and feet down.
Now looking down at Esther from a higher position, the temporarily blinded man coldly commanded, “Bring out that little brat.”
Another man dragged Felix out, his mouth covered with a piece of yellow tape. Felix looked at Esther, surrounded by the menacing men, and fought angrily against his captor’s grip.
“B*tch, behave yourself! If you dare to move again, I’ll throw this little brat into the sea to feed the sharks right now!”
The man forcefully tore open Esther’s clothes in front of Felix, and a chilling breeze enveloped her, causing her teeth to chatter with fear.
Just as the man was about to make a vile move toward Esther, an urgent whistle suddenly pierced the air.
The man picked up a walkie-talkie and anxiously inquired, “What’s happening?”
“The police are here. We need to evacuate immediately!”
These men in black knew the dire consequences they would face if caught. Now was not the time to be consumed by their lust for women. The man grabbed Esther’s arm and roughly pulled her toward an ambulance parked in the open space.
With one hand, Esther desperately tried to cover herself, tying the torn clothes together to avoid exposing too much skin.
Felix was thrown to Esther’s side by the men in black. “Mommy…”
Esther lowered her head and whispered, “It’s alright, Felix.”
Just as Esther finished speaking, the man who had been pushed into the operating room was once again shoved into the vehicle.
The other men in black boarded the vehicle as well, starting the engine and driving the ambulance like a race car.
Through the glass, Esther could see their destination clearly. It was an island,
Once a prison, the island had later been earmarked for tourism development, but the plans were temporarily put on hold due to an economic crisis.
Wild grass grew everywhere, and even the exterior walls of the buildings were covered in lush ivy. With limited transportation options, the island was rarely visited by residents or
fishermen, making it the perfect location for crime.
Anxiously, Esther wondered if her emergency hotline call had succeeded. Would the operator continue to follow up, or would they dismiss her call as a prank?
Upon reaching the pier, everyone boarded a yacht.
