After his statement, Liam walked away while Liliane watched him from behind and snickered.

Liliane’s cell phone rang, and her face lit up with joy as she read the message. 

The mysterious man informed her that he would arrange for Billy’s death that night. 

However, Liliane needed to visit the Ansteys’ villa to facilitate his plans. 

Liliane had complete trust in everything the mysterious man told her, without a shadow of a doubt. 

Thus, that afternoon, Liliane and her caretakers returned to the Ansteys’ villa. The last time she had left the villa was during Bradley’s wedding. 

The villa’s windows and main entrance had faded, and the garden’s flowers and plants were badly damaged due to lack of care. 

This villa, which used to be the warmest home Liliane knew, now felt cold and unfamiliar. 

“Dad,” Liliane whispered as the smell of alcohol greeted her upon entering the villa. 

Once she adjusted to the odor, she saw Billy, with disheveled stubble, sleeping amidst a collection of wine bottles. 

Liliane turned to her caretakers and softly instructed, “One of you needs to stay here and tidy up the place while the other buys ingredients and prepares a meal.” 

The caretakers began their tasks. 

Liliane gently nudged the intoxicated Billy and said, “Dad, wake up.” 

Billy opened his eyes dazedly and spoke hoarsely upon seeing Liliane. “Liliane, it’s you!” 

“Why did you drink so much, Dad?” Liliane played the role of a dutiful daughter, following the mysterious man’s instructions. “You shouldn’t drink so excessively. It’s not good for you.
