Chapter 369
News of the audit team entering the Warner Group spread, thanks to Jasper’s intentional dissemination. The shareholders began to sell their Warner Group stocks, causing the company’s stock price to plummet.
Jasper quietly purchased a batch of the Warner Group’s stocks, becoming a shareholder.
Bradley, the leader of the Warner Group, felt unprecedented pressure. Under this immense pressure, he demonstrated strong leadership and execution skills. He remained calm in the face of the audit team and continued to work in an orderly manner.
To stabilize the hearts of the Warner Group’s employees, Bradley increased his holdings of the company’s stocks on the secondary market with his own money. Thus, he managed to ease the tension within the company.
After a long look at Esther’s photo, Bradley gnashed his teeth. There was a hint of unnoticeable affection in his fierce gaze.
Oliver had been closely monitoring the Warner Group since he launched his attack on it. As he observed Bradley navigate through one crisis after another, he could not help but admire his
talent.
Ignoring his personal morals, Bradley was indeed a talent to behold in the business world. Few could remain as calm and composed as he did when facing such attacks.
“Mr. Quill, should we continue?” his assistant asked.
Oliver looked up coldly and answered, “Go on.”
He wanted to keep it going until Bradley came to him begging for mercy.
Oliver wanted to make Bradley experience everything he had inflicted upon Esther. Empathy was rare in this world. Only by going through what Esther had gone through would Bradley truly understand how much he had crossed the line with what he had done to her.
“Contact Mr. Searle and buy the portion of stocks that he purchased in Esther’s name,” Oliver ordered.
The assistant hesitated and asked anxiously, “Will he agree to sell them?”
The Quills were oppressing the Warner Group but didn’t want to destroy it completely. They left Bradley room to react. Once the Quills withdrew, Jasper, who had bought the Warner Group’s stocks during the turmoil, would be the ultimate winner.
“Mr. Searle will tell you the answer,” Oliver replied.
“Okay.”
The assistant followed Oliver’s instructions to contact Jasper. To her surprise, Jasper agreed immediately to transfer all the stocks he had acquired during the chaos to Esther’s name.
