Mandy held the cup, her heart filled with rage.
Why wasn't the teacup filled with sulfuric acid?
Then, she could have just thrown it at Bradley and destroyed his face!
He had left her alone at the wedding and now wanted her to offer herself to him? Did he think she was to be treated as he pleased?
"Your heart belongs to someone else, I wouldn't—"
Before Mandy could finish her sentence, Bradley interrupted her domineeringly, "Mandy, if you're willing to offer yourself to me, I might consider it."
"Isn't the person you love... Esther?" Mandy tentatively asked.
Bradley held his cup as he asked in a mocking tone, "I love Esther?"
"Don't you?"
Mandy thought about it. Bradley had taken Esther away from the wedding. Didn't that prove anything?
Oh, right!
On top of that, he had signed the divorce papers the other day. Yet, when Esther fainted, Bradley didn't even pretend to be disabled. He just carried Esther away. Wasn't that love?
If that wasn't love, then what was?!
"Mandy, you've misunderstood." Bradley took a casual sip of his coffee, looking disinterested. "Even if Esther were the last woman in the world, I still couldn't love her."
Mandy stared wide-eyed, not understanding what Bradley meant by that statement.
Bradley repeatedly said he didn't love Esther, but his actions contradicted that!
"Why?"
