My Husband Wants Me Dead (Esther and Bradley) novel Chapter 720

Oliver handed his phone to Felix, who started typing.

Felix: [Granduncle, something stuck in my throat. I can't talk.]

Oliver looked at him and asked, "Did this just happen?"

Felix obediently nodded.

"Kevin, arrange for a pediatric ENT specialist to check Felix," Oliver instructed.

Kevin replied, "Okay."

-

The specialist did various tests, but they all showed nothing wrong with Felix's throat and voice.

Kevin examined the reports and asked, "Are you sure everything is okay?"

The specialists all said, "Yes."

Kevin took the test reports to Oliver.

Oliver patted Felix's shoulder and softly said, "Felix, go play."

Felix obediently nodded.

Oliver and Kevin walked to a quiet spot.

"What's happening?" Oliver asked.

Kevin handed the reports to Oliver and whispered, "Mr. Quill, Felix's test reports show no problems."

"Get a psychologist involved," Oliver said.

Kevin followed Oliver's request and called Xara.

When it came to Felix, Xara didn't waste time and quickly joined Oliver and Kevin.

"What's going on with Felix?" she asked.

"Felix can't speak," Kevin explained.

Bradley frowned. "What are you talking about?"

Kevin looked at Bradley's puzzled expression and sneered. "Congrats, Bradley. Your son can't speak."

"Kevin Slade!" Bradley grabbed Kevin's collar, ready to retaliate. "How dare you curse my son?!"

Kevin received a solid blow to his jaw.

"Is it a curse? Bradley, do you really think it's a curse?!

"No! This is the reality!

"You've tormented his mother repeatedly, right in front of him. Congrats, you've turned your son into a mute!"

Bradley raised his fist again, but Oliver restrained him. He questioned, "Bradley, you didn't even notice your son's condition. Can you truly call yourself a father?"

Bradley couldn't believe what Oliver and Kevin were saying. He couldn't accept that Felix had become so fragile.

"Mr. Quill, please don't make such cruel remarks about my son!"
