A week passed by in the blink of an eve 

In the past week, the Walkers had repeatedly sent people to rescue Trent, but none of them returned 

The people they sent did not just fail to rescue Trent they could ret even set foot in Jade Manor. They were all killed outside the mano by the Four Elders of the Cole family 

The atmosphere at the Walker Mansion became more are grave. They failed to get any useful formation and they lost & number of people. 

Morgan sat in the center of the living room, looking at the information his subordinate brought to him with a sullen expression. The frosty air he exuded got stronger the more be read

Morgan looked grim as he heard that. Then, he said angrily, “We’ll 

have to make other arrangements.” 

Everyone else at the Walker Mansion looked somber. The

Liam had been spending time with Jovie and Celena every day. 

He had never spent a day with Jovie ever since she was born. After spending the past seven days together, Jovie and Liam’s relationship 

got stronger. 

However, Liam and Celena were a little too cold to each other. They had not met for seven years, and they had hardly spoken to each other before that. 

They had plenty to say to each other after they had a daughter, but they always lacked the right moment to do so. 

After Celena calmed down, she was even running away from Liam. 

She felt very conflicted whenever she saw Liam. 

She had hated him for the past seven years. She hated the misfortune he had caused her. However, she also missed him at the same time. She had no idea why Liam was all she could think of either. 

In the past few years, whenever she experienced hardship and found it hard to keep going, she always hoped that Liam could return to her. 

However, he never did. Never once in those seven years did he come back to her. The high hopes she once had for Liam disappeared after she was disappointed over and over again. 

At first, she thought that was it for her. However, when she was in despair this time, Liam returned. Because of that, her heart, which had been broken to pieces, was full of hope again. 

It had been so many years that she had no idea what to say. 

She did not know if Liam had fallen in love with another woman in 

those seven years or if he was married with children. If he was, she would be bothering him, would she not?
