Everyone’s attention was immediately on the black box. Calum 

whipped away the black cloth, revealing the two ums sitting within it. They were matte black with writings carved in gold on the side. The golden carving caught the reflection of the light glinting off them. 

Everyone was so intrigued by this that no one uttered a single word. Even Cheryl was in absolute disbelief 

It was supposed to be a joyous occasion celebrating Cheryl and Patrick’s engagement, so it was no doubt very odd for Liam to bring 

two urns here. 

Everyone’s gaze landed on the writing, which read, [In loving memory of Chester Cole and Sadie Chanter.] 

It was the ashes of Liam’s parents! 

No one could believe their eyes. Liam had brought the ashes of his deceased parents to the most luxurious engagement party in the city! He had placed his deceased parents ashes right on the table in front of the Hughes and other elite members of society!
