Chapter 68
That invitation was priceless to Celena! She had endured shame and humiliation after being banished from the Stone family all those
years ago, and this invitation was the only thing allowing her to return to the family again! The invitation contained Celena’s hope of returning to a normal life with her family, but Qemal had torn it up right before her!
Liam furrowed his brows at this, then knelt to the ground and pulled Celena up. Celena staggered to her feet, still sobbing, and turned to Liam. “What…what should I do, Liam? That’s the invitation that
Grandpa gave me…”
Liam’s grip tightened around her hand. “I know, Celena!”
All Celena could think of was that she had lost her invitation and would never be allowed back to the family. She got on her knees again to pick up the shredded paper. “The invitation! This is the invitation Grandpa gave me…”
Liam knew just how much this invitation mattered to her, so he turned to stare at Qemal with a look so cold it could freeze water. “I’ll give you exactly one minute to pick up all the shredded pieces and get on your knees to apologize to her!”
Qemal raised his brows in amusement. He cast Liam a look of contempt and snapped, “What right do you have to order me around like this?”
With that, he stepped forward and placed a finger threateningly
against Liam’s chest. “You have no right sticking your nose into my business! You’re just a scumbag that my sister ended up with, and I have no idea what she even saw in you! You’re broke and useless!
You and Celena are a match made in heaven!”

Before Qemal knew it, Liam grabbed hold of Qemal’s wrist, and with a slight twist, he bent it at a grotesque angle. Everyone could hear the snap as Qemal’s wrist then drooped over as though the bone had been broken. “What right do I have? You’re picking on my woman, the mother of my child. You insulted my daughter! What are you going to do about that, hmm?”
It was as though Qemal’s words had set a fire ablaze in Liam.
Qemal bent over in agony as an excruciating pain shot through his wrist. Beads of cold sweat pooled on his forehead in pain, and he wailed, “Ahh! Let go of me! My wrist! It hurts!”
