Bella was then taken to a room where stood a handsome gentleman with a noble look.
"Hi, I'm Arthur." The man reached out his hand in a friendly way.
"Hi, can you help me out?"
"It's no problem to take you out, but we have to make a deal."
"Albie, mum made you your favorite cake." Bella put a cake that looks delicious in front of Albie, but Albie only played with his wooden doll.
His eyes were a bit hollow, and he was still chanting while playing, "Are you lost? Can I take you to your mum? You have to behave yourself, or your parents will not want you ..."
"He will be fine." A man came up and patted Bella on the shoulder, comforting her.
"Thank you for helping me find him."
Half a month ago, Bella was redeemed by a man named Arthur and then helped her find Albie from traffickers.
Albie was already dying with the scars on his whole body and needle eyes on his arm. Perhaps the trafficker was afraid of his noise and injected him with hypnotic drugs.
After treatment, although the wound on the body was healed, Albie couldn't even call mum because of PTSD.
"You don't have to be polite to me, this is part of our deal, ok? Can you meet your commitment now?"
"Of course, what do you want me to do?" There is no free lunch in the world. Bella knew very well that if Arthur did not want to take revenge on Edward, he would not have helped her.
She didn't understand what use she could do for him as a woman abandoned by Edward.
"I'll tell you then."
At Long's Corporation
"Edward, although Laura hasn't been found yet, the plaintiff's company has dropped the lawsuit. Take a rest, don't be so desperate!" Jason looked at Edward, who was getting thinner, and could not help urging him.
Since Bella and Albie disappeared and the company was prosecuted, Edward had not rested for a day and worked late into the night every day. Except for his inability to support himself, he tried his best to keep himself awake.
