It wasn't hard to guess where the kitten came from when she returned from caring for Gideon's business and bringing back a kitten.

Sally dropped her head.

Elijah caught Sally's hands and smiled. "Yes, he left his mommy at such a young age and moved around so many times before he found you, so how can we not keep him?"

Sally's eyes shone brightly.
