Adeena smiled faintly.

Addy?

She was Adee.

What a coincidence.

She switched off her phone and continued packing her luggage.

Suddenly, Ruth screamed, “Oh, God! Daniel’s here too!” Another white car stopped downstairs, and Daniel got out of it in a gray suit.

He walked toward Duke, and his voice was dull and husky as he spoke. “Duke.”

The simple greeting contained countless emotions.

Duke patted him on the shoulder and softly said, “Addy refuses to meet me. Do you have any solutions?”

Daniel took out his phone and called Ruth.

When Ruth saw the caller ID that was flashing on her phone, her lips curled up.

She knew that Dan would not ignore her.

She only picked up the call after her phone vibrated for a

long time. “Hello, who is it?”

Her voice was indifferent, but a glint of happiness could be heard if one listened carefully.

“I‘m Daniel Jones.”

His voice was deep and gentle as usual.

Ruth had been haggard for two days, but she was instantly healed by his voice.

She curled her hair with her finger and smiled , but her voice was cold. “Didn‘t you mistake me for someone else? Why are you still calling me?”

“I want to see you,” Daniel softly said.

Her voice instantly died in her throat. “M–Mr. Winters. why are you here?”
