My Past is Just Prologue (Janet and Nathaniel) novel Chapter 13

Read My Past is Just Prologue By Louisa Dillon Chapter 13 – He Wouldn’t Regret It

“How could she not take money?!”

The corner of Winifred’s mouth twitched suddenly. An extremely shocked expression appeared on her face.

From Nathaniel’s cool look, it seemed that he was not lying.

“Hmph, I didn’t expect that infertile woman is quite sensible. Knowing that she can’t bear children, so she didn’t ask you for money shamelessly.”

“Nathaniel, hurry up and bring Anastasia back home. Choose an auspicious day and get married.”

“Three years ago, you missed such a rich marriage partner. Now you have to seize the opportunity and not miss her again.”

Hearing the word “rich“, Nathaniel was even more irritable.

Janet never asked him for money.

In the three years of marriage, she didn’t even touch anything he bought her.

When she left, she didn’t take any expensive shoes, bags or luxury goods. Why?

Nathaniel looked solemn. Suddenly, a thought flashed into his mind. Didn’t Janet marry him for all those? Why didn’t she take it away?

“Nathaniel, you have to seize the chance this time. Anastasia is the best marriage partner. Marry her as soon as possible. Try to have two kids in three years and give birth to several chubby grandsons for me.”

Winifred’s words brought Nathaniel, who was slightly in a trance, back to reality.

After a long time, he said coldly, “Grandfather knows about my divorce from Janet.”

Grandfather?

The word “grandfather” successfully defeated Winifred’s inner joy. Old Mr. Webster had always disliked her.

Because of Nathaniel’s words, Winifred felt afraid.

“Nathaniel, go and explain to your grandfather.”

Winifred was depressed without the happy look and chattering she had just now.

“By the way, don’t tell your grandfather what I just said.”

“Also, you must marry Anastasia as soon as possible. I’m waiting to have a grandson. Do you hear me?”

Nathaniel remained silent.

A few seconds later, his whole body was full of irritability. He went straight to the backyard to find old Mr. Webster.

“Brat, tell me. Why on earth did you want to divorce fill?”

“Jill is such a good girl. Why don’t you know how to cherish her?”

“Come on, quickly bring fill back to me and remarry her.”

With gray temples, but old Mr. Webster looked healthy. He was wearing loose blue flannel clothes with his hands behind his back. With a serious and angry expression on his wrinkled face, he walked up and down in front of Nathaniel, scolding him.

“I heard that you divorced Jill because of Anastasia?”
