Chapter 166 Couple Dinner 

Nigel brought Janet into the restaurant and was guided by the waiter to the reserved seats..

The seats were next to the window and overlooked the entire bustling downtown area of Austin.

He carefully pulled a chair for her and then sat down.

The waiter beside them began to enthusiastically introduce the dishes, “What would you like to order? This is our restaurant’s special menu just for today, and there is a discount for a couple’s meal.”

Nigel took the menu from the waiter and did not refute his words.

Nigel inadvertently glanced at Janet.

Janet looked at the other menu and did not pay much attention to the couple’s meal until the waiter spoke again.

“Sir, Miss, you two are a good match!”

The waiter had worked in this restaurant for a long time. He had seen many influencers and celebrities, but a couple like Nigel and Janet

But soon they saw the words on the flower baskets.

“Congratulations to Janet, president of the Longfellow Group, for the successful bidding.”

“Could… could it have been sent by someone from the Longfellow Group?” Nigel asked Janet uncertainly.

Janet shook her head. Other than Geordie, almost no one in the Longfellow Group knew she had come to the New-Media Industry Convention. Geordie could not have made such a grand gesture.

“Forget it. It’s not important. Go back and rest first. You have to attend the closing ceremony tomorrow. As the host, if you don’t come up to the stage and present a speech, I am afraid you will be assassinated by the other two.” Janet waved at him and said with a smile. “See you tomorrow.”

With that, she turned around and walked into the hotel. She pressed the elevator button and went up to the 16th floor.

When she saw there were two flower baskets at the door of her room, she was a little surprised. A familiar voice sounded.

“You finally came back. How was the celebration dinner?”

Nathaniel stood next to the flower baskets with his arms crossed, looking at her with some coldness and mockery.

“Does it have anything to do with you? Nathaniel, stop looking for trouble.” After that, Janet was about to swipe the card to open the door.

Nathaniel took a step forward and stood in front of her, his eyes falling on the flower baskets at the door.

“Do you have anything to say about these flower baskets?”

Janet looked at him and finally understood. His expression indicated they were from him.
