Chapter 175 Don’t Flatter Yourself
Janet’s seat was on the other side of the aisle, which made her feel a little uncomfortable.
Nathaniel was sitting next to Janet. Janet couldn’t even turn around to look at the scenery outside. If Janet had known that she would meet Nathaniel she would have asked her cousins to send a helicopter to pick her up.
The plane wouldn’t take off until a while later. Janet could only look down at her phone, hoping that time could pass faster.
Anastasia, who was sitting in the back row, had the same thought.
Anastasia glared at the back of Janet’s seat fiercely, looking like she wanted to kill Janet with her eyes.
Anastasia thought, that seat should have been mine! Why is Janet sitting there?
Anastasia glanced at Alfred, who was sitting next to her. Anastasia was unhappy and even felt a little disgusted. It seemed that sitting with an assistant lowered her noble status.
“Nathaniel… Can you come to the back to sit with me? I suddenly feel stuffy and short of breath.” Anastasia covered her chest with one hand and took a few deep breaths. It looked like she really felt uncomfortable.
Nathaniel glanced behind him. Then, he said to Alfred, “Take care of Anastasia.”
Alfred felt speechless.
Alfred wanted to refuse, but he didn’t dare to do so. Besides, Alfred thought he had to do something for Nathaniel in order to let Nathaniel spend more time with Janet.
“But Nathaniel, I really…”
Before Anastasia could finish her words, Alfred immediately found a pile of medicine from his bag and stuffed them into Anastasia’s hands.
“Ms. Lambert, these are all airsickness medicine. They are definitely useful”
Anastasia glared at Alfred and said. “I don’t want medicine! I am not airsick. Why should I take medicine?”
Alfred sighed in his heart, you can still speak so loudly. Why are you pretending to be uncomfortable?
Alfred said. “Then why don’t you put on the oxygen mask, Ms. Lambert?”
“You!”
Anastasia was so angry, but she couldn’t say anything. Nathaniel was sitting in the front row, and the woman Anastasia hated the most sat next to Nathaniel. Anastasia clenched her fists in hatred.
Anastasia thought, no. I can’t let it be like this!
Janet had thought that Nathaniel would go to the back row to take care of Anastasia. In that case, Nathaniel would change seats with Alfred, and Janet wouldn’t feel so suffocated.
However, Janet didn’t expect Nathaniel didn’t move.
Janet secretly glanced at Nathaniel. He was facing his laptop. It looked like he was busy with something.
