My Past is Just Prologue (Janet and Nathaniel) novel Chapter 206

Chapter 206 You Have To Be Safe!

Her phone suddenly rang. It was a call from Nigel.

The breeze blew over from the street, and Janet’s long hair flew in the air. She shook her head slightly and picked up the call.

“A new barbecue restaurant opened recently. Shall I take you to try it?”

Nigel was very calm when he spoke, as if his love confession a few days ago hadn’t existed. Janet was also very calm and

smiled.

“Mr. Wheeler, you called a little late. I already have an appointment. What should I do?”

“Unlucky!” Nigel wailed as if he was joking. “If I want to invite you out next time, should I make an appointment online a few days in advance?”

Janet smiled.

“That will do. Please find my assistant next time and make an appointment in advance so I can arrange it for you.”

“Okay. Dear Ms. Longfellow, our busy girl, may I ask when you will have time to hang out with me next time?”

Janet pretended to think.

“I’ll let you know after I check my schedule.”

The two of them joked. Friendship could be precious.

At that moment, Janet suddenly felt a gust of cold wind behind her.

Janet frowned. Just as she was about to turn her head, someone covered her mouth and nose with a huge force.

“Ummm…

“You guys…”

Before she could finish speaking, she smelled a pungent smell. It was….

It was a knockout drug!

Janet looked at the strong man in front of her in a daze. He was burly and did not look like a hooligan.

She held the phone in her hand and was about to make a move. The man covered her mouth and nose tighter. In a moment,

she lost consciousness.

The phone in her hand fell to the ground and made a loud noise.

Nigel, who was on the other side of the line, did not know what had happened and was still talking in a low voice, “Ms. Longfellow, have you finished checking your schedule? When will you be free?”

Bang!

The sound of her phone hitting the ground made him panic.

For some reason, he had a bad feeling.

“Jill, are you okay?

“Jill, what happened?”

There was no response from the other side of the line. Nigel could not even hear her breathing. He could only hear the low laughter of a few men.

“Hey, this girl is really something. Look at her shape. Tsk, tsk, tsk. I haven’t seen such a pretty girl in these years.”

“Shut up. What are you talking about? Let’s go, or we would be seen.”

The sound of the wind was too loud. Nigel could not hear what the men were saying clearly. He could only hear a few keywords. Nigel clenched the phone in his hand.

“Jill, Jill, can you still hear me?”

The next second, her phone was kicked into the sewer by a man, and Nigel could not hear anything at all..

He suddenly stood up.

Something was wrong. Something must have happened to Janet. Otherwise, she would have responded.

What did those two men mean just now?

Nigel clenched his fists and took a deep breath to calm down. He dialed a number on his phone with his slender finger and

made a call.

“Hey, help me find out where Janet is right now.”

In the meantime, Nathaniel became angrier and angrier as he thought about it on the filming site.

Why didn’t Janet care about it anymore? She could let go of all the beautiful memories of the past. What right did she have?

He had the final say about their relationship!

Nathaniel strode to the garage with a dark face.

Only Dawson was left there, lonely and pitiful. He didn’t understand what was going on from beginning to end, and he was

confused.

Nathaniel had just driven his car out of the garage when he saw Janet standing by the side of the road, leaning on a man.

His face darkened, and before he could step forward, Janet was stuffed into a black van by that man.

When the man closed the door of the van, through the gap, Nathaniel saw the rope tying Janet’s wrists.

Something was wrong!

Nathaniel became serious. He immediately returned to his car. At the same time, he dialed Alfred’s number.

“Janet is kidnapped. Check the background of those people and call the police!”

After saying that coldly, he hung up the phone and stepped on the gas pedal all the way down.

Vroom!

His car had better performance than the small black van. In less than two minutes, he caught up with the van and drove side by

side with it. The window of the van’s passenger seat was open. The man smoked while leaking disgusting yellow teeth.

“Hey, this is a great deal. She’s such a pretty young lady, and we can get a lot of rewards.

“Hahahaha, after we get the money, we can go have fun.”

As he spoke, he glanced back, his eyes full of disgusting desire.

Nathaniel threw a lighter over, successfully attracting the man’s attention.
