Read My Past is Just Prologue By Louisa Dillon Chapter 86 – Be His Secretary
In the end, Anastasia saved his life. Nathaniel could not ignore her suicide attempt.
When he arrived at Anastasia’s hotel room, he found the door open. Anastasia was not in the room.
When Nathaniel was about to leave. There was movement from the bathroom.
Kicking open the door of the bathroom, Nathaniel’s face suddenly turned dark when he saw the scene.
Anastasia was lying in the bathtub with her eyes half closed. She had a pale face, a cut was made on her wrist, and glaring bright red blood was gurgling out from that cut.
“Nathaniel… It hurts so much.”
When Anastasia saw Nathaniel, she smiled slightly, and then quickly disappeared. She looked at him with pale lips.
Nathaniel’s expression turned cold, “Stop talking. I’ll take you to the hospital.”
As Nathaniel said, he started to pick up Anastasia.
“No, Nathaniel,” Anastasia weakly pushed Nathaniel’s hand away, “Everyone says I’m dirty. You better don’t touch me. I’m very happy that you’re here…”
Anastasia’s wound was not deep. But if she kept soaking in cold water and did not stop the bleeding in time, she might die due to excessive blood loss.
Nathaniel frowned, “Don’t be stup*d. Stop the bleeding first.”
“No! I don’t want!” Anastasia grabbed Nathaniel’s hand. Her eyes widened, and the blood on her pale face faded away. She seemed innocent and pitiful.
She cried, “Nathaniel, I don’t care if others misunderstand me. But if you also misunderstand me, I really don’t want to live anymore… I can explain! That video is not real, and I didn’t do it voluntarily!”
Nathaniel looked away from the woman’s eyes. His face was tense, and he said, “We’ll talk about these things later. You need to bandage up now.”
But Anastasia’s emotions were extremely intense. She tightly pulled Nathaniel’s sleeve and said eagerly, “The reason why I slept with that man was really that I was out of control. I was drugged. I had no choice! Nathaniel, you must trust me!”
Anastasia refused to let him go. Nathaniel’s irritability gradually rose.
