The third wife's daughter was Miss Monica, who we met at the Hayes Manor. She was a little older, almost 40 years old. Because she had always been protected by the Hayes family and was used to being pampered, she was arrogant and had shown much disdain towards various young masters from other noble families. Therefore, she had been living in the Hayes Manor all these years. She probably wanted to stay in the Hayes Manor for the rest of her life and not get married.
Otherwise, she would not be so upset when she found out that Master Hayes handed over everything to Tobias.
As for Gerald's fourth wife, she wasn't considered a legal wife like the previous three ladies. She was a woman Gerald had slept with, in the spur of the moment. Gerald led a dissolute life, and not every woman he encountered could enter the Hayes family.
Hendrix didn't say much about Tobias's mother. He only said that she once accompanied Gerald to the Ocean Premium Restaurant. She was probably a model and got pregnant with Tobias by accident.
After Hendrix and I finished paying our respects,
Tobias took a long look at me, disdain in his eyes.
I paid it no mind.
Tobias then looked at Hendrix and asked, "Mr. Roberts, can I have a word with you?"
I figured that they were going to discuss the company's affairs.
