Tina nodded and said, "That's a good idea!"
After chatting for a while, I raised my head and looked at the rooms on the second floor several times.
After a moment's pondering, I went upstairs.
Dahlia only came to open the door after I'd knocked for a long time. When she saw me, she paused slightly and asked, "What's the matter?"
"Can we talk?"
She frowned, took a step back, and allowed me into the room.
She seemed to be really devout. As she had come back from the brink of death, she'd painstakingly searched for a cross, and began to pray in her room.
She sat on the couch, in front of that cross. She put her palms together and recited bible verses.
"What do you want to talk about?" she asked.
I looked at her and asked, "Do you believe that God will bless you?"
She looked towards me and said solemnly, "If He didn't bless me, I wouldn't be talking to you here right now."
I was speechless instantly, and couldn't help feeling that rather than God, she had been possessed by the devil. I paused and said, "I heard that your family is in Asherton. Rainie intends to open a shop there, after returning to the country. Have you thought about taking part?"
"No!" She responded sharply, in her usual hostile tone.
I nodded and thought for a moment. Then I said, "What happened that day... I didn't mean for it to happen. I really didn't want to hurt any of you more than anyone else. I didn't expect that Tiago would hurt you this way. I..."
"Enough!" She interrupted me and looked at me coldly, "Arianna, do you think you're that noble? You're always so high and mighty. Did anyone tell you that you seem to be faking it?"
