Chapter 384
In a hotel room.
Sitting in a chair, Arabella pushed a long needle into her vein and watched the drops of Mandala's poison melt into her body.
With her previous experience, Arabella thought she was no longer unfamiliar with Mandala's poison, but when it broke out, she felt a pain that was hundreds of times more intense than the previous one.
In terms of medicine, Mandala's poison had developed a certain immunity to her blood, and her blood defense level had decreased, making the poison naturally more rampant.
Arabella's small face turned extremely pale, and a layer of cold sweat broke out on her forehead. It was as if something was gnawing at her bones, driving her mad with pain.
Arabella endured the throbbing pain and quickly picked up a pen. She wrote down several important medical equations on paper, but one was still missing.
Arabella felt like she was about to succeed. She felt that victory was within her grasp and that she was on the verge of developing an antidote.
However, she missed the most important equation.
"What is it?" she thought.
Before she could work it out, Arabella had fallen from her chair, and drops of blood were rapidly gushing from her nose.
She reached out and touched it. Then she saw that her veil was covered with blood.
Arabella quickly reached for the needle, which was at her fingertips. At that moment, however, a piercing noise like the whistling of a train sounded in her ears, and she felt as if the whole world were whirling around her.
She couldn't see anything clearly.
