Sven and Marie arrived at the rubble of the collapsed cave. They searched the area thoroughly but were unable to find any trace of Alfius. Just as they were feeling at a loss, they heard a scream.

They followed the voice and discovered the severely injured Brew and Brett. All four of them immediately raised their guards.

Brew, in particular, seemed agitated upon seeing Sven. He neglected his wounds and struggled to his feet.

"Sven? Still alive, huh?"

"I'll be alive as long as you are alive," Sven retorted.

"Tsk, still as arrogant as ever, huh, Sir Sven?"

"And you're not much better off, Prince Brew."

"Don't call me that! You bastard!"

"Cut the crap. Do you want to fight?" Sven said coldly, fully recovered and ready for a confrontation.

"Hahaha, it's pointless now, Sven. Let me tell you, this isn't our first time in this game."

"So what?" Sven asked, puzzled.

"So, we're actually here to end this farce. And just now, we found the best candidate to do that."

"Are you talking about Nash?" Sven asked, confused.

"Hahaha, that's right! It's him! We're finally starting to have an impact on this place," Brew said mysteriously.

"Are you just trying to justify your killing?" Sven retorted.

"Of course not, Sven. Let me tell you something, most of the people here aren't worth pitying, including the one behind you." Brew pointed to Marie behind Sven.

"Who knows, she might just be pretending to be weak? You're an honest man. You'd better watch your back."

As Brew pointed a finger at Marie, she looked down with a complicated expression on her face.

Expression serious, Sven countered, "I trust Marie, and this has nothing to do with you!"

Marie lifted her head again when she heard Sven's firm retort. Sven then grabbed Brew by the collar and demanded, "What's your real purpose here? Answer me! And Nash! What about him? Where's Alfius?"

"You're asking too many questions at once. Which one do you want me to answer first?" Brew rolled his eyes, showing a lack of concern.
