When Eric opened the door and got out of the car, Skadi was stunned. 

Was he not the wretched man from the other day? 

Eric frowned and asked, “Did you escape from Quiet Winds Church?” 

Skadi nodded. “Something happened at Quiet Winds Church. We have to call the police!” 

Eric opened the door and said, “Get in. We’ve already called the 

police!” 

After they got in, Eric closed the door for them and got into the front 

passenger seat. 

Atlas floored the accelerator and sped off. 

“Ah-choo… I’m cold!” 

The little kid sneezed and shivered. 

Bianca hugged the little guy tightly and said, “Does this feel bor?” 

The kid shook his head. “You’re as cold as ice!” 

Atlas turned on the heater and said, “There are heater blankets 

heater cushions behind the seats. That’ll help for now!” 

Bianca found the blanket and wrapped it around the kid while holdi 

him in her arms. 

Skadi sat in the middle seat while Cillian was in the window seat. 

Cillian had fallen into a coma after being poisoned, so he was leaning 

on Skadi’s shoulder. 

Skadi held Cillian’s bony hands and blew warm air into them. 

Bianca whispered, “Skadi, where are we going?” 

Skadi then realized that she had not told them where to go, so she 

said, “Um… please take us to Royal Bay, thank you…” 

She was not sure whether Cillian would turn into a ghoul after getting 

bitten by one, so she wanted to let Nash take a look at him. 

Eric exhaled a puff of smoke and said hoarsely, “We live in Royal Bay 

too…” 

Then, Atlas suddenly asked, “Is your name Skadi Zabel? Are you Zakariah Zabel’s granddaughter?” 

Skadi nodded. “You know who I am?” 

Atlas smiled and said, “I went over to your house to deliver a 

protection amulet a few days ago. You weren’t home at the time, so it 

was your grandfather who greeted me!” 

Skadi nodded and looked at the wretched man. “Do you know sh?” 

When her grandfather gave her the amulet, he said that Nash 

made it for them. 

Atlas said, “Nash is my grandmaster, and the person next to me

Skadi was so embarrassed she wanted to crawl into a hole.

Eric said, “Come into our house. Nash is busy right now, but I know

Atlas got out of the car first. 

Bianca held the kid in her arms as she entered the villa. Skadi was 

going to carry Cillian, but Atlas said, “I’ll do it!” 

Skadi shook her head. “You’ve helped us a lot already. I’ll do it!’ 

After saying that, she carried Cillian on her back and entered the villa. 

When Jesebel saw a guest carrying a wounded person, she immediately spread an absorbent towel on the couch. 

Skadi placed Cillian on the towel while Eric checked his wounds.
