Chapter 10 A Stunning Gift Box
“I know right! How could a loser like Trevor win Corrie’s favor? I mean, she’s the prettiest of all!”
“I’m sure his hands are pickled in stinky smells by now!”
“What a loser! If you don’t know your place, then that’s what you’ll end up with!” Seeing the crowd burst into laughter, Trevor’s pale face turned livid with rage. ‘Do I deserve to be humiliated just because I do not have money?’
Anger boiled within him, and if it weren’t for Bessie, he would have left the place immediately.
After all, unfortunately for him, no one really cared about his feelings.
Noticing the gloomy look in their coach’s eyes, Bernard knew that she was at her limit.
Even though he was the one that started it, he did not dare to take things too far, so he quickly laughed and said, “Everyone, don’t laugh at this poor loser anymore. Miss Taylor’s birthday mustn’t be ruined. Let me see what kind of present you got for her. Why don’t you take it out and see which one would be the most perfect present for her?”

The next moment, a delicate perfume bottle was placed on the table.

Even Corrie was amazed.
“This is a new limited edition Hermès perfume. A single bottle of it costs more than ten thousand dollars, for sure!” she exclaimed.
In fact, she had been wanting that exact perfume for a long time now, but since it was so expensive, she had not made up her mind to buy it, and that was the reason she was able to recognize it by just looking at it once.

A perfume that’s worth more than ten thousand dollars is something that a student can’t afford so easily!’
When Bernard saw the admiration in her eyes, his complacent smile grew bigger. He was also proud when he saw how envious the crowd was.
He then glanced at Trevor and teased, “Trevor must have bought a gift for Miss Taylor, too, right? Why don’t you show it to us?”
