The Contract Lover (Nina Morrison and Lucien Gray) novel Chapter 109

Nina blushes with shame. She sees a nurse carrying an iron plate. She looks at Lucien apologetically. “Sir, I need to change your medicine.”

Then she takes a look at Nina in Lucien’s arms.

Nina is ashamed!

Lucien gives the nurse a fierce look. “I don’t need it!”

Nina quickly pulls Lucien’s sleeve. “Go back! Otherwise, your injury will not recover. Little Nelson must miss you. Don’t you want to go back to see him earlier.”

Nina finds that little Nelson is Lucien’s weakness. As long as she mentions the baby, Lucien usually listens to her.

Hearing Nina mention the baby, Lucien reluctantly returns to bed and asks the nurse to give him an injection.

Nina covers him up.

Suddenly Lucien holds her hand. Nina looks up at him doubtfully. Lucien has an evil smile on the corner of his mouth and points to his clavicle.

Why does he point to his clavicle? His collarbone is not broken.

Nina is thinking, but she doesn’t think much.

The nurse next to her also looks at Nina’s clavicle. She blushes and leaves quickly.

Nina looks at Lucien and touches her clavicle. Nothing special.

She turns to see the nurse coming towards her. She hands her a band aid.

Nina thinks the nurse is very careful. She sees a scratch under Lucien’s sleeve.

She pulls up Lucien’s sleeve and applies the band aid to the scabby wound.

Lucien can’t help laughing. “Nina, this is for you!”

Nina looks up. “Is this for me?”

Lucien points to Nina’s chest and laughs, “go inside and look at your collarbone, ha ha.”

Nina quickly goes to the bathroom and looks in the mirror. There is a very bright and striking kiss mark on her clavicle!

No wonder the nurse looked shy just now. No wonder Lucien laughed so proudly!

This damned man embarrasses her!

Nina hasn’t had a good rest these days. She falls asleep as soon as she lies in bed.

She has a long dream. In her dream, she goes back to the campus. She and Troy are reading books together under the cherry tree. They are very young at that time. Troy is a naive boy.

The sunshine in the dream is very good. The boy in the dream is very gentle.

It is over nine when she wakes up. After a quick wash, she goes to Lucien’s ward.

The atmosphere in the ward is very depressing.

Paul stands with his head bowed in fear. The nurses stand in front of Lucien’s bed. It looks like Lucien is losing his temper.

Seeing Nina coming in, Paul immediately feels relieved, “Miss Morrison, please persuade young master. He doesn’t want to take medicine.”

Nina raises her eyebrows in surprise.

This is what babies do. In her mind, only babies under the age of ten refuse to take medicine.

Seeing Nina’s scoff, Lucien yells at Paul unhappily, “Paul! You are wordy!”

Paul looks down quickly and doesn’t dare to talk.

The nurses next to him also bow their heads. They look at the ground and are afraid to offend Lucien again.

The pills are all over the ground. It seems that Lucien had a bad temper just now.

Nina thinks it is fun. Seeing Lucien’s angry expression, she has to hold back her smile. Nina walks up to Lucien and says softly, “you’re sick. You can’t do without medicine. Taking medicine can make you recover quickly! The medicine is not bitter at all. If you don’t believe it, you can try.”

Nina feels like a kindergarten teacher. Her students are too naive!

Lucien stares at Nina. “I said I won’t take the medicine!”

Nina is speechless.

Children in kindergartens also listen to their teachers.

Lucien is no match for kindergarten children.

Lucien is angry. He is determined not to take the medicine.

Nina shrugs and is about to give up when she sees Paul looking at her for help. She is soft hearted and patiently says to Lucien, “what can I do to get you to take your medicine?”

Lucien says rudely, “stop it. Get them out of here!” He points to the nurses.

...

Forget it. Anyway, she can’t persuade him. It’s better to give up.

Nina makes a helpless look at Paul. Suddenly she feels hungry. She comes in the morning to play the role of kindergarten teacher. She is a little hungry.

“Paul, I’d like to eat in the restaurant. Where is the restaurant?”

Lucien looks at Nina. Doesn’t the woman see that he is still in bed? He hasn’t had breakfast yet!

She doesn’t care about him and wants to leave him and go to breakfast.
