Despite a few minor incidents, things soon resumed with a buzz. 

A two-meter-long cake attracted all the attention. 

Tilly took her place on the stage, surrounded by everyone. 

Lights and cameras began to shoot. 

Up on stage, Tilly looked towering and elegant. She smiled all the way through, and her lines remained as perfect as ever. 

Those in the audience below the stage admired her.

Not only did she possess over $100 million in assets, but she also built her own brand and a publicly listed company.

Her life was perfect. She had a wealthy husband who was not only attractive but also fond of her. 

The two had a son and a daughter. Sam, their son, had inherited both of their best qualities. He was impeccable.

As for their daughter, Sophia—

Little girls deserved to be pampered after all despite her domineering ways, no?

Offstage, Lacey gazed at Tilly's every confident gesture. 

For the first time, she honestly thought Tilly wasn't such a bad person! 

Tilly did hold something to admire! 

Shortly after, Tilly concluded her words on stage. 

The applause went on and on, and Lacey followed suit. 

Following that, Alvaro approached his wife and held her with a gentle smile as he said, "I'm glad that all of you are available to attend my partner's birthday party. Please, enjoy yourselves. Forgive me if I have made any oversight!" 

Everyone smiled and raised their glasses. This birthday party was said to have cost several million dollars. What kind of oversight could there be?

"Since today is such a good day, we've decided to surprise everyone even more," Alvaro added with a smile. Then he waved to Lillianna. 

Lillianna had been standing next to Sam. When she saw Alvaro waving at her, she was at a loss. 

Her gaze shifted from the man next to her to Alvaro. 

"Come over here, Lillianna." Smiling, Tilly waved to Lillianna as well. 

Noticing Lillianna's daze, Madeleine rushed up and beamingly exclaimed, "What are you waiting for? Hurry up and get up there!" 

Only then did Lillianna snap back to her senses and hurried up. 

Meanwhile, Lacey, standing next to Theo, glanced over her shoulder at Madeleine.

Bailey stood next to Madeleine, and on her other side stood another man. Wait a minute, that shirt— 

The corner of Lacey's lips rose slightly. So it was him! 

Perhaps due to Lacey's piercing gaze, Madeleine subconsciously turned her head sideways. 

She frowned as she met Lacey's eyes. What was she staring at? 

With a slight smile on her face, Lacey slowly walked over.

Bailey noticed her approaching and quickly looked behind her. He smiled when he saw Theo not far away. 

Lacey stepped around them and came to the other man next to Madeleine. "Hello, Uncle Matthew!" she said as she raised her head and smiled at him. 

Matthew Woods looked at Lacey and froze slightly. After a slight pause, he returned the smile. "You're Lacey, aren't you?" 

Lacey smiled joyfully. Even her eyes were crescent-shaped. 

His voice sounded just like the one she had just heard! 

"Uncle Matthew, do you know what the other word for calm is?" Lacey raised a mischievous smile.

Despite not entirely understanding what she was aiming for, Matthew responded anyway. "Is it excitement?" Lacey smiled brightly." Uncle Matthew, you are very clever indeed!"

Lacey beamed brightly. "Uncle Matthew, you're smart indeed!"

Matthew chuckled, seemingly pleased with the compliment. 

Meanwhile, next to him, Madeleine frowned and said to Lacey, "Be quiet. Can't you see someone's talking on stage?" 

Lacey shrugged as she lifted her brows. Smiling, she turned around, then looked back at the stage. 

Uncle Matthew— 

No wonder she found him familiar. He was one of the guys Bailey had played poker with!

Lacey smiled even brighter as she lowered her eyes. 

Sure enough, close friends were the ones people should be aware of.

Sam was a tall guy. Though he was far away, he immediately spotted Lacey among the crowd.

Her actions and snickers drew his eyes.

Sam lifted a faint grin. What a cunning little fox she was!

In the meantime, Lillianna was ecstatic as she stepped onto the stage. 

She was wondering if this was the announcement of her wedding!

But wouldn't that be a little too early? 

After all, they'd just gotten engaged!

Nonetheless, she was looking forward to it. 

"Sam, come here." Tilly hurriedly waved her son over. 

Sam wiped away his grin and resumed his usual aloofness. Then, he walked over. 

The single ladies off stage immediately covered their chests at the sight of Sam's handsome face. It was as if their hearts would soon jump out of their throat!

As Sam stood next to Lillianna, a perfect portrait materialized. 

The two were a perfect match!

"Ladies and gentlemen, on behalf of my partner's birthday, we announce that our son's wedding will take place on March 21st," Alvaro announced with a smile.

The audience erupted into gasps of surprise.

That was fast?

Logically, a wealthy family would need a year to get engaged and married. 

But for the Garrisons, it only took three months! 

Then again, while Lillianna hadn't graduated yet, she had already won numerous awards at school. 

She also had a significant influence on social media. 

More importantly, she was ranked as the youngest and the best! 

She was the image that all wealthy families' daughters aspired to achieve! 

With such talent and a wealthy family at the same time, Lillianna was indeed the perfect partner for Sam. 

It was no surprise that Alvaro was looking forward to welcoming his daughter-in-law into their family.

"Clap!" The audience erupted in applause almost immediately.

Lillianna was astonished.

Lillianna turned to look at the man next to her. 

Sam had a face with well-defined features. He was charming indeed with bushy brows, dark, deep eyes, and a tall nose! 

He was appealing no matter how or from what angle one looked at him!
