Staying by Ethan's side, Pearl was introduced by Victoria to all the guests.

Victoria was obviously extremely fond of Pearl, showering her with nothing but praises and compliments. 

Victoria's face was full of pride. She held up a glass of champagne and toasted everyone. "Thank you for taking your precious time to attend this banquet.  just want to take this opportunity to introduce Pearl to everyone of you. When their wedding date is set, I'll definitely invite all of you!"

Her words actually made everyone present never dare look down on Pearl.

People started to asked: "Why did Ethan get married so secretly?"

"Yeah, Mrs. Louise, you've hidden this news well."

"They were studying abroad during the past years, thus they didn't have time to hold a ceremony. We were afraid of gossiping if we disclosed it too soon."

"Pearl is also a doctor since she was once Ethan's classmate?"

"Yeah, now she is working here in Kityall City."

All people who attended the banquet knew that they had a youngest son, Ethan. Although he was a playboy, no one dared to look down on him.

Traditionally, the inheritance of a Family Group still relied on a son. Therefore, most of them believed that Ethan would eventually inherit Louise Group.

Pearl had drunk a lot of wine after rounds of greetings.

"Are you okay?" Ethan helped her to the side to rest. "Don't force yourself to drink anymore. Why did you drink for every random person who came to toast?"

Pearl rolled her eyes at him by hearing this: "The people who toasted me were all your relatives. Are they just 'random people'?"

"I didn't mean it. Why are you exaggerating? You sound like Katherine." Ethan sat her down on the sofa. "Have a rest. Drink some water."

"I'm okay," Pearl leaned back on the sofa with Ethan sitting beside as well. With Katherine's support, they actually did not need to do anything in the banquet.

For everyone in this world, there was a destined person in their lives. No matter how crowded it was, one could always see that person at a glance as if they had telepathy. 

Pearl and Richard were quite far away from each other, but the moment their eyes met, they quickly turned their gaze away. 

Pearl frowned and took a sip of hot water, as if she didn't see him. 

"Stop pretending," said Ethan as he crossed his legs and peeled an orange in his hand, "I'm sure you're feeling disgusted seeing both of them in pairs?"

"No." Pearl pouted. 

"Why do you sound so decisively?"

Rather than answering Ethan's question, she asked, "What happened between you and Adriana just now?"
