Ethan's mother, Victoria Louise, was the kindest and most enthusiastic lady Pearl had ever seen. There was not a sense of superiority from her at all. 

Pearl thought that Victoria would only say a few polite words to her children at most, since Ethan was not their father. But she didn't expect Victoria to show so much kindness and joy upon seeing her children.

"They are way too adorable. Brandon is the older brother, right?"

Brandon seldom talked to strangers. Pearl hadn't introduce Victoria to him, so he just pouted his lips. His beautiful eyes filled with a calmness.

Bonny blinked, "Yes, he is a little older, which is why he is my elder brother!"

Bonny was like a perfect little doll when she didn't speak. But as she spoke, all her energy and liveliness came out. No one would dislike this little girl. 

Victoria's heart was about to melt. She squatted down and saids, "Let me guess, you must be Bonny, aren't you?"

"Yeah I am!"

"Then do you know who I am?" Victoria looked at her with a kind smile.

Bonny glanced at Ethan and said, "I know, you are Uncle Ethan's mother!"

"Why do you still call him Uncle?" Victoria hesitated for a moment, but she quickly said, "No worries, take your time."

After that, she kindly smiled. "Bonny, Brandon, I'm your grandmother."

Hearing this, Bonny looked a bit hesitant.

"What's wrong?" Victoria thought that she was too abrupt, so she looked at Pearl in confusion.

Pearl patted Bonny's head and said, "Bonny, it's grandma."

Bonny shook her head, "Such a young grandmother? I'll call her aunt at most."

Not a single woman disliked being praised for being pretty and young.

Hearing this, Victoria was filled with joy. She held Bonny in her arms and said, "Oh, God, you have given me such a cute granddaughter."

Pearl and Ethan shot a glance at each other silently. 

Both of them had never been worried about Bonny's talents in winning other people's liking for her. 

"But you still have to call me grandmother, as I am." Victoria held Bonny's hands and took her to the sofa. As she walked, she said, "Grandpa and I have prepared gifts for you. Come and take a look."

Although Bonny now pretended to be calm, both Pearl and Ethan knew that she was overjoyed.

Victoria was busy playing with the children. Enrique, Ethan's father, who had been sitting on the sofa throughout, was completely ignored. It was really awkward.

Obviously, Ethan was deliberately ignoring his father. After a while, he smiled and introduced, "Pearl, this is my dad."

Pearl politely greeted him, "Nice to meet you, sir."

Only then did Enrique's look ease a little. "Thanks for picking up Ethan."

"It's okay, I only worked half a day today."

"It must be busy working in the hospital. You are so young yet you have already become a deputy chief physician, so you must be very capable and hard-working." Enrique spoke in a serious way. 

Pearl didn't feel that the way he talked was uncomfortable, but was kind, just like her own father. 

He then asked her about her work and academic achievements. Pearl answered him truthfully. She mentioned that she would soon work in the university, and there was obviously appreciation in Enrique's eyes.
