Chapter 125
One of the ladies in the office had set up a video call for Lexi so that she could talk to Linda.
“Yes, I have been pretty busy lately.”
Lexi’s adorable little face scrunched up. “You used to come home even if you were busy. Why haven’t you come back for such a long time? Don’t you like me anymore?”
Linda laughed at how adorable she was.
“Of course I still like you!” she said gently. “I’ve just had too many things on my plate recently. I’m so busy. and I returned home so late you’re already asleep.”
Lexi had been watching cartoons every day, and she had learned a few things from them,

Wendy said, “She grew up with you. It’s normal for her to feel closer to you.”
Most people did not know about Lexi’s parentage, but those closest to them knew.

Linda frowned. “What do you mean?”
“The contract contains the original issue stock of Wilson Group.
Linda was even more confused.
Why was he giving her the original issue stock all of a sudden?
As a businessman, he should know very well the consequences of giving those away.
Wendy shrugged, indicating that she had no idea. “I think that William’s grown a conscience. He’s trying to compensate you for his terrible actions over the past few years.”
Linda laughed sarcastically. “Do you think I need the money?”
“Of course you don’t. You’ve never neede
