“I don’t usually come here unless I’ve got a special job I need to do. Like you said, I think it’s a waste of time.” Luke walked into the kitchen and glanced at the Ingredients. “You can go for a walk. I’m going to cook now, or it’ll be late afternoon by the time we eat.”

Luke cooked in the kitchen while Linda wandered around the villa. 

Just as she had expected, the villa had a consistent style that matched Luke’s personal tastes.

Linda’s phone rang in her pocket. 

Chloe was calling “Linda, where are you right now? Do you want to grab lunch with me? I recently discovered a super delicious restaurant.” 

Chloe wasn’t a workaholic. When she wasn’t working on her designs, she would explore different cafes and 

ten found novel restaurants. She would invite Linda to try them with her. 

“I’m not in the city right now.” 

“Lexi said you went off to do something important. If you’re not in the city, where are you?” 

“I’m currently in the suburbs, where Dad got us the villa 

Chloe was silent for a while. She was probably wondering where it was. 

John had bought numerous properties after his daughters reached adulthood as a guarantee for their future. 

“You don’t have to think about where the villa is. Your teacher and I are getting ready to have lunch at his place, so I won’t be able to eat with you.” 

When Chloe heard that Linda was with Luke, she hung up at once. 

She was very keen on pushing Linda and Luke together 

Luke suited Linda much more than Samson did. 

Luke was an interesting person, and he was also an innovative thinker. In many ways, he would be able to protect Linda and also understand her. 

Linda looked at her phone and smiled in exasperation. 

Chloe was much too transparent. 

Linda did not have any intention of getting into a new relationship at the moment.
