Chapter 170
“Mr. Wilson, you should stop trying to fool anyone, especially yoursel
Jay had watched William and Linda for many years.
To be honest, he had had enough of it.
He genuinely felt happy for Linda now that she could walk out of her past and start building her new life up from the ground. It was rare for anyone to be able to walk out of such a dark place since most people found it easier to succumb to the darkness. For that, she was really
brave.
“Should I just give up then?”
“Mr. Wilson, it’s up to you whether you give up. As a bystander who has seen your relationship from then until now, I’ve really had enough of it. If you realized your mistakes from the very start or tried to make it up to her long ago, then this story would have ended very differently,
Jay replied.
He continued, “It’s been eight years since you got married and divorced. That’s enough for someone to grow from their mistakes. When Ms. Felix was heavily injured and recovering in Usna, I can admit that you did many things to make it up to her, but none of that was anywhere near enough.
“She now has a child with Samson. They’re a happy family, so why are you trying to mess that up for them? Don’t you think you’re doing something rather pathetic right now?
He paused for breath before finishing. “I don’t think you’re a person who would try to take someone already in a relationship.”
Jay’s speech had finally brought William to his senses.
Yeah. There was no point in doing any of that anymore.
Linda and Samson already had a kid.
If they really did split up in the future, their entire lives would still be connected due to their child.
Linda and William were never going to go back to how they used to be. Perhaps she had given up on him a long time ago.
“Mr. Wilson, you’re a good man. You deserve someone better, so please let yourself and Ms. Felix go,” Jay said.
“Jay, don’t you think I was an asshole back then?” William asked.
Jay didn’t answer him directly because he believed William already had an answer. “Mr. Wilson, you should know best about what you did.”
“Don’t cancel the bookings. If she hadn’t spent all her time on me after we got married, she might have already been successful long ago.”
William would think of his insignificant actions as for what he did in the past.
Iway to make up
Linda was actually very talented when it came to directing movies
If she had joined the industry a few years earlier, she might have been more successful internationally, too.
William had been holding her back.
