Chapter 181
“You really are a girl dad,” Linda said
Samson wasn’t annoyed at all about that.
“I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that. I only have one. daughter, after all. If I don’t shower her with love while I can, what if she gets swept away by some cheesy deadbeat when she’s older? I’ll be devastated if that happens.”
Linda replied, “Lexi will never get swept away by guys who don’t make enough effort. We’ve only given her the best since she was born.”
A child who grew from love and was constantly given whatever she wanted would never be placated by a lack of effort.
The two of them usually had disagreements on how to discipline Lexi, but when it came to spoiling her and showing her love, they were always on the same page.
“Of course. Everything Lexi wears is practically worth a small fortune.”
“It’s not her fault she has a jeweler for an aunt. As long as Chloe has it, Lexi can have it.”
Even though Chloe had talked about not wanting to spoil Lexi too much, the truth was that she always gave any jewelry she deemed gorgeous enough to Lexi, not Linda.
Because of that, Lexi had been decked out in incredibly coveted jewelry since she was a baby.
Even Linda felt slightlyjealous of that sometimes.
“Samson, I was thinking about finding a good time to show Lexi to

Samson helped her hold the train of her gown off the floor as the two
of them went to rest on a sofa in the corner.
“I know. I actually wanted to talk to you about this, too. Keeping our kid cooped up at home isn’t good for her, and it’s not the best way to protect her.
“We can’t keep her locked up in the house forever. She’s already
almost three years old. She’ll have to go outside when she starts kindergarten. If we keep her locked up at home, she won’t get used to going outside.
“Lexi already spent some time without us a few years back, so she’s naturally more anxious than most kids her age. If we keep her at home like this, I’m worried she’ll not develop socially. I don’t want her to get scared of everything she sees when she has to go out in the
future.”
As expected, Samson could perfectly resonate with Linda.
He had basically said everything Linda had wanted to talk about.
“That’s exactly what I was thinking. I used to be nervous that our backgrounds would force our kid into the spotlight and affect her
childhood.”
As a new up–and–coming director and the president of an
entertainment company, the two of them constantly had eyes on them wherever they went.
As their child, if the public knew about her, Lexi would also get that same spotlight.
It couldn’t be healthy for Lexi’s childhood or growth to be filled with flashing lights and countless paparazzi tailing her wherever she went.
However, on the other hand, nothing good would come out of keeping their child cooped up at home and pampering her like some sort of
