Chapter 208
The rivalry between William and Samson quickly drew everyone’s attention on set.
Linda walked over to them with Lexi in her arms. “Is this necessary for you both to argue? she asked.
Lexi chimed in sweetly, “Daddy, godfather.”
“Come here, Lexi. Let me hug you,” Samson said while opening his arms
Lexi also eagerly obliged.
“Did you miss Daddy today?” he asked.
She nodded enthusiastically. “Imissed you a lot today.”
William did not want to be outdone, asking, “Did you miss your godfather too?”
Lexi touched her chin thoughtfully. “Imissed you both, but I missed Daddy more.”
Samson couldn’t hide his satisfaction at this moment.
Linda playfully added, “So, who are you going home with tonight?
This question made Lexi hesitate. “I want to go home with Daddy, but I also want to leave with my godfather. Can I go home with both of you?”
In her innocence, she realized that choosing one might make the other sed, and she didn’t want to hurt any of the people who loved her.
“How about this? Why don’t you let your godfather ride in Daddy’s car, and they can both take you home together? Linda suggested it to Lexi
Lexi nodded eagerly, “Okay, Mommy.”
With Lexi agreeing, neither William nor Samson could object.
In the end, William called foe to take his car back while he rode in Samson’s Bentley to take Lexi home to the villa
The sight of both the current and ex–husband arriving together to pick up Lexi spread quickly around the set, and a few clips even made their way online
Linda and Samson had already decided to reveal Lexi’s identity, so they weren’t concerned about her face being visible. Besides, no one would dare harm Lexi with William involved.
The assistant director teased Linda as he approached, “Ms. Felix, you’re so charming that you have an ex who can’t get over you and still helps out with the kid.”
Linda and the assistant director were on good terms, so she didn’t mind the lighthearted jab
“Well, it sure beats being single for 30 years like you. I guess I have more charm compared with you,” Linda retorted playfully,
The assistant director was visibly hurt and left without looking back
