Samson’s question was exactly what Linda had been thinking about. She shared Jessie’s idea with Samson, which caused him to frown.
“I don’t fully understand some things about your circle, but personally, I find this suggestion quite absurd.”
Linda knew it. This idea would seem absurd to many people.
Samson continued, “But I also think your friend has a point.”
“What do
you mean?” she asked.
“Whether it’s participating in a micro movie, a variety show, or live streams, the main goal is to increase visibility and make subsequent work proceed in a smoother manner. “If William is open to this suggestion, then I’m on board. After all, everything we’re doing is for our own benefit. If we can achieve certain benefits with this, then I see no problem with it.”
After a pause, Samson went on, “Linda, I understand you don’t want to have too much contact with William. But the fact remains that Lexi really likes him, and we’ve agreed to make him her godfather.
“So, no matter what, there will always be a significant connection between the three of us because of Lexi. Since that’s the case, we might as well turn this into a chance to gain some popularity and also leverage William’s fame.”
Samson’s perspective was clearly driven by self–interest, but Linda agreed with his viewpoint. The biggest problem now was convincing William to agree to participate in the
show.
Linda and Samson were the president and vice president of an entertainment company respectively, so they were somewhat close to the industry. However, William was a
businessman.
“The issue isn’t whether I want to have contact with William but whether we can get him to accept the show’s invitation.”
Some things were pretty easy to understand.
Linda knew that if William were willing to make an appearance, the buzz would definitely increase. This would bring significant attention and traffic to her next project. This influx of traffic could translate into endless revenue.
Yet, the biggest issue at hand was convincing William to agree.
“We can’t ask William directly and expect him to say yes, but we have Lexi.”
Samson and Jessie seemed to be on the same wavelength, thinking of leveraging Lexi for this.
