Lina explained, “We know that you have a strong fondness for Lexi and that you’re her godfather. From another angle, this could help alleviate some of the negative images you’ve created in the past. 

“At the same time, Ms. Felix really needs this publicity. This situation benefits you, Mr. Lynch, and Ms. Felix from every perspective. 

“If you’re interested, you can let me know. If you feel that participating in this variety show doesn’t suit your image, of course, we won’t force you.” 

William considered this for a moment. “I understand you’re handling this, Ms. Smith, so I want to share my thoughts with you. I hope you can also discuss them with your two superiors.” 

Lina agreed. 

“I can participate in the show, but I have two requests,” William stated. 

“Please go ahead. If it doesn’t involve personal issues, I can approve it directly,” Lina responded. 

Linda had given Lina this authority. The reason Lina had brought Lexi to the office and had her call William was because Linda had instructed her to do so.

“Second, during the entire recording period, Samson must not tell Lexi to stay away from me.” 

Lina pondered this for a moment. After all, Samson was her boss. It wouldn’t be appropriate to belittle him. 

“Mr. Wilson, I think you might have some misunderstanding about this. Lexi is already three years old and has her own judgment. 

“Even if Mr. Lynch said negative things about you, those words won’t affect a child who can think for herself. And I believe you can sense Lexi’s affection for you,” Lina explained. Lexi then chimed in, “I like you a lot, Uncle William. Daddy hasn’t said anything bad about you. It’s just that you haven’t been around for a while, so I’ve been playing with him. But I still really like you.” 

William was silent for a while before requesting, “Third, I have some issues I’d like to discuss with Linda in person. Can you arrange that?” 

Since it involved Linda, Lina couldn’t make any promises, and William was aware of this. 

“Please pass my message to your two superiors. If they agree, I’m ready to sign the contract at any time. I don’t need you to pay me a single penny,” William said before hanging
