Chapter 242
Jessie shrugged. “It’s fine. If you can’t find anyone, you can do it yourself. I trust your abilities.”

At that moment, Linda, Samson, William, and Lexi were in the play area, building blocks. They didn’t know that these behind–the–scenes moments had already been captured by the production team’s cameras.
Jessie hadn’t told Linda that there was a scheduled camera installed in their home. Deliberate shots were never as interesting as natural interactions.
Although it was labeled as a children’s variety show, it did have a script. No variety show was entirely unscripted, except for those that focused on challenges or hardships. Jessie took some time before calling Linda.
“When do you plan to come over?” Linda held a block in one hand and her phone in the other.
“There’s a possibility that we’re already done filming.”
“Did you install a camera in my house?” Linda, being a director herself, understood the implication immediately.
Jessie didn’t deny it. “Don’t worry. The camera is only focused on the area where the children play. It won’t affect your daily life. The camera is on from after breakfast until before dinner.”
How could Jessie not know that a family like theirs cared a lot about privacy? She didn’t tell Linda in advance because she knew that Linda wouldn’t agree to it.
Although it seemed like a decision made without prior consultation, it was not a huge issue given their cooperative relationship.
‘You should have told me in advance.” Linda was unsure whether to be angry. Their relationship was good, and this project was indeed a joint effort.
“Linda, trust me. I can manage it, and my staff won’t interfere with your daily life. This variety show does have a script, as you know. I want to build up the overall excitement efore we start officially according to the script.
We’re working together, so I won’t just disregard your needs to meet my objectives.”
Enda sighed helplessly. “If you think it’s necessary, go ahead. But if it affects my child’s or my daily life, the project will be immediately stopped. I can handle that loss.” Eter ending the call, she heard Samson ask, “Have they installed a camera in our home?”
es, and we were unaware of it,” answered Linda.
sit on all day?”
da shook her head. “It’s operational from after breakfast until before dinner, covering just this area.”
