Linda, “By the way, who got her so upset? She’s been way more controlled Lately” 

Lina had been much more composed these past few days, rarely losing her temper. Even when she did, it was more passive–aggressive 

She never cursed, but she had a knack for leaving her opponent speechless. 

Samson: “It’s Keith. He’s the main investor for this project! 

Linda: “That explains everything. Those two can’t be in the same room without arguing. Don’t worry. That’s just how they communkate” 

The meeting lasted two hours, but only about 30 minutes were spent actually discussing the project. The remaining time was filled with bicketing between Lina and Keith. There were hundreds of back–and–forths, all ending with Keith on the losing side.

Samson grinned. “I’m definitely bringing you to my negotiations from now on.” 

He was genuinely impressed by Lina’s direct personality. 

“Bring me along for what? So I can tire verbal bullets at anyone who offers a bad deal or insults you? 

“You’ve been with me for two years, and you know me too well” 

Lina smirked. “Mr. Lynch, if it wasn’t for the fact that you pay n me well and I rely on this job for survival, I honestly wouldn’t have tolerated you for this long 

only the paycheck that kept her from unleashing on Samson.
